Hey Kristian, I'm fairly new to goalkeeping techniques and preparing only for my college team trials. So no coach and stuff but your videos have been very valuable and thorough. I really hope you grow big time!
Hey! ☺️ Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏 I'm really glad that you find the content helpful 💪 And we all have to start somewhere. When you get addicted to goalkeeping, there's no way back. It becomes a lifestyle, no matter what level you play at ☺️
Well, then there's only one thing to do, huh? :) I wasn't born with a naturally good kicking foot either but since I started training it, it has become so much better! :)
Maybe I should ask my mum to buy me that program for birthday😂. No, but for real thanke you for this video. I've been strugeling with my distribution. The worst felling is when a defender has to distribute a ball for you bsc you can't. I am really greatfull for this video and the hard work you put in for your viewers, and the quality you provide. Thanke you once more!!!!!
@@vinkoposloncec1142 hehe... The program is not going anywhere but it's a great program ☺️ That used to me also. I struggled aaa lot with my distribution (especially goal kicks). And there's only way to improve it and that's by practicing it 💪 And THANK YOU! For your kind words. Means a lot 🙏 Keep pushing 💪
Great question! At the U13 level, there’s no exact distance that’s 'required' for goal kicks - it varies based on your strength and technique. However, as a general guideline, being able to clear the penalty area and reach the middle third of the pitch is a good target. Focus on proper technique over power: 1️⃣ Plant Foot: Make sure your plant foot is next to the ball, pointing where you want it to go. 2️⃣ Contact Point: Strike the ball with your laces (or big bone), aiming for the lower half of the ball to generate lift. 3️⃣ Follow Through: Swing through the ball and follow through in the direction you want it to go. Don’t stress too much about distance - accuracy and consistency are just as important! Keep practicing, and you’ll see improvement over time. 💪⚽
I’m having a hard time understanding expand getting the technique with both feet. I have a grasp of it on my right, but striking the ball with my left doesn’t seem and feel right. (Long balls)
Hey buddy. That's completely normal. My right foot is so much better than my left. Focus on teaching yourself the technique with your right foot first and when you absolutely nail with your right, then it's a lot easier to practice with your left. You just focus on doing the exact same things as you're doing with your right. But of course, it takes a lot of practice :)

Another great video. Thanks.
We like the tip of keeping your head down when kicking.
Thank you, man!
Yeah, it makes all the difference. So simple but so effective!
My passing has never been the best but hopefully with these i can improve it a lot more

can you please make a catching tutorial as well? I would highly appreciate it.
Yes. I most definitely can. Thank you for your suggestion
Oops, wrong profile haha
Yes, I can :)
Sir, how much should a u13 goalkeeper hit a goal kick in distance?

I hit almost 30 metres. 😢. Please tell me how much u13 keepers at your academy hit. So i basically get an idea. Love from india❤
Tbh, I think they hit about 30-40 meters which is fine for your age. Don't stress about it.

No such thing as a weaker foot. Its the second strongest foot! :)
haha... exactly! 😅
Could anyone be so nice and tell me what boots those are?
Hey man. What boots are you thinking about? Those in the picture/thumbnail, or the one in the video?
@@GroundGloryGoalkeeping Do you know what boots are good for goalkeepers and if there isnt then do you know any for wide feet?
I have very wide feet myself. These are Nike
phantom.
Excellent boots 👍

@@itzstxveroadto1007 it's not really a crying emoji, is it? Isn't it more of a "proud"/"crying because I'm happy"-emoji? 😁
