I needed this, i could do everything with my right, but my left is useless, i rely on outside foot shots and passes, my weak foot is slowly getting better with these drills, i can confidently say i have a 4* weak foot
My daughter and I have worked on both of her feet for a long time. She has developed both feet at the same time. In both practice and in games, she ONLY uses the foot on whatever side she cuts to. If she cuts to her left, she uses her left foot, if she cuts to her right, then her right foot. Same for receiving passes. If the ball is on her left side, she uses her left foot. She is now equal with both feet and works on developing her skills with both feet simultaneously. She is her team's leading scorer. In her last game, she had an opportunity to score, but only if she could quickly kick it with her left foot. Because of her training, she didn't even think twice, just scored the goal with her left foot. Her coach player her left forward because she doesn't even think about which foot to use to dribble. If the defender is to her right, she uses her left foot.
That's awesome! It allows her so much more freedom of what she can do since she has developed both feet. Sounds like you've done a fantastic job coaching her! Thanks for sharing😁🫶🏻

That’s awesome!! I used to be in the same spot. I spent 5-10 minutes daily on juggling tricks so now I can reliably do ATW with my weak foot. If you can do it with your strong foot already you’ll be amazed how quickly you’ll get in down with your weak foot! Best of luck😁💪🏼💪🏼

I’m just curious. Not being negative at all. What experience do you have with soccer? Were you an ex pro. Are you a pro coach, or are you still a pro? Thank you🙏
No worries! I’m happy to answer! I am 23 years old and I am a professional indoor soccer player, however I have not stepped up to the pro game in outdoor. I am working to do so in the next year or so. I’ve played collegiate soccer for the last five years and I have played semi-professionally for the last four years. I’m not a pro coach either yet. One day I’d love to be but I have a lot of my own playing career to go through first! I am a collegiate, division 2 assistant coach have been an assistant coach at my local high school for the last two seasons. I also coach club/travel soccer. I’ve ran individual and small group training sessions for years for young, aspiring players as well as my peers. I’m still working on my own playing path but I’m sharing everything I’ve learned along the way from playing under fantastic coaches, or things I’ve learned from my own coaching experiences! Thanks for asking! 😁🫶🏼🫶🏼
Strat 2 is harder than it seems. in training its just soo hard to actually not having that feeling of scoring a banger with your strong foot so we just automatically just playing with strong foot rather than weak foot
Fantastic comment. I agree 100%. That’s why I recommend doing this with training on your own or with some friends. Doing it in team training would be so difficult. Even on your own it can be difficult mentally. Like you said, shooting with your strong foot feels amazing because you score bangers but then your weak foot makes you upset since it’s not as good… This held me back for too long… Just push through it and then your weak foot will start improving and then it becomes way easier to prioritize it!!
It totally is! It can be very tricky to learn but that’s just like with any skill for your weak foot. It just feels unnatural at the beginning… My advice is to do the Left Foot only session I gave you every week. But if you really want to work on dribbling and skill moves, then use the 15 minutes (to work on any skill) specifically for your weak foot dribbling and skills! This should really make a difference in your ability in a few months! Let me know how you progress😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I disagree with the part that you should master your strong foot First. If you start learning techniques with both feet you Kind of get a better understanding of what makes or breakes a shot. Also it will feel more natural
I don’t think we really disagree! I didn’t mean to imply that you shouldn’t improve your weak foot. Generally, you should be developing both feet simultaneously. My point was that you can’t mimic good technique from your strong foot over to your weak foot if you don’t have it mastered yet on your strong foot. Otherwise you’re just copying inconsistent technique, if that makes sense. So if you’re trying to do the strong foot - weak foot approach, you need to master it with your strong foot first in order for it to work. You don’t have to use that approach to improve your weak foot, it is just a tool I’ve used to help me and others get significant improvements to their weak foot! Let me clarify what I meant when I said to master your strong foot first. When I was learning to shoot or ping (or whatever skill) I practiced with both feet. But since I’m right footed I focused more on my right foot and got it down quicker because it comes more naturally to my right foot. Then I started trying to mimic that technique over to my left foot which helped my left foot get it down quicker. I hope that makes sense!
@@UNKNOWN-qt3ml I got you! If you check out the playlist on my channel called “First Touch Training Sessions” you’ll find 4 videos with different drills that’ll improve your first touch aerially and on the ground. They are older videos, but the information in them is still very good! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
I used to kick with my toe and I fixed that like a year ago and I had to start completely fresh with my shooting style so maybe i can just do that with my left foot
In last 2 months i trained a lot in individual passing and dribbling during this month I only played few small sides games now I improved in drills but my speed of play scanning everything becomes very worse than before but my friend who have my same level doesn't trained and played last 2 months but his speed of play was better than me . I improved my technique but in game I am playing worse .
Sounds to me like you’re just a bit rusty on speed of play. It’s natural as you get back into games. There’s more pressure and you’re forced to do everything a bit quicker! Don’t worry! You’ll get back up to speed quickly and then you’ll be even better than before since your technique has improved😁💪🏼
How does the shot look? Is it bouncy and lacks power? Or is it a clean strike but it goes down the middle? My overall advice is just to get more practice on this. If you can strike a dead ball well, then you have good technique already. It’s all about translating it over to when you shoot on the dribble. What makes shooting on the dribble more challenging is that you have to master the timing. The timing of the ball rolling, where you place your standing leg, and then the timing of the strike itself. The only way to get this down is with lots of practice. Then once you have good timing, you can focus on the part of the ball you’re making contact with, and where your standing foot is pointing to help get that shot towards the corners of the goal! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Unfortunately I don’t have plans on making a video for goal kicks anytime soon. But I don’t have videos on long balls and pings which is very similar to how you would kick the ball for goal kicks! Check it out! It’s titled “Master the PING using this Technique | How to Play Long Passes in Football” Let me know how it helps😁💪🏼💪🏼
Welp,i recently started playing fotball(my first time plyaing was like 6 months ago)and back then i could barrelly pass ,now i can use my string foot better,i woukd evaluate it as 3”,my mates think im weak even tho i started 6 months ago. Btw,im gonna try dis
Depends on the situation and your goal with the ball! If the defender is towards goal, then dribble towards him as opposed to down the line because then they force you away from goal more easily. If they are recovering from out wide, and you have a path toward goal then attack the space! This is just general guidance though because it is dictated by the specific situation you’re in! I hope this helps with your question😁🫶🏼🫶🏼
If you can, I recommend recording your free kicks so that way you can analyze the video and compare your technique from when you score a banger versus when you can barely get the shot off the ground. Try to figure out the differences between a successful free kick and one that isn’t as good and then be intentional about improving your technique! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
That’s great! For some players they are stronger with one foot for a particular skill, and then stronger with their other foot in another. But the concepts and advice I gave in the video works still for you!😁🙌🏼
This is an imaginary tutorial. Meaning that whoever develops it, basically saying use your weak foot and play more, it will develop. Sure, it works, but needs a few years. How to train weak foot in a short time? Develop power and strength first! Maybe some day I will develop a video to show you guys how. Or at least write down a tutorial
If you'd actually have trained your weak foot you'd know how quickly your weak foot improves by just focusing on technique, strenght is important but not even 5% of how important technique is.
There’s different approaches to every facet of training. From my experience, improving technique is far more important than focusing on strength and power. I’ve always been a strong player, but my left footed shots and pings had no power until I learned how to strike it properly with my weak foot. This made it possible for my strength to actually make an impact on my performance. I do agree with you that power and strength is important! But who’s to say you can’t do strength training, plyometrics, and technical training to develop your weak foot (and overall game) simultaneously? That is how professionals with access to top class fitness coaches, nutritionists, and facilities would approach it. I’ve been fortunate to have access to things like a gym, but some viewers may not so I try my best to give advice that can help everyone. I hope that makes sense and that’s my perspective on it! I appreciate you voicing a different perspective though! Sharing our knowledge and experiences is how we all grow together😁💪🏼
@@blobvis765my brothers argue about this all the time. I think what he’s saying is strengthening your weak foot improves how easy soccer training then becomes. Strengthening, meaning developing it so it feels natural for anything that you do. Like supporting you to turn and change direction, not burning out too easily, it’s connected to your brain, like you can feel and command it at will. I hope that makes some sense. Some people that have naturally developed those things with their weak foot/leg may benefit less from it. But, I have improved a lot from strengthening my weak foot then practicing soccer improved Sigh*
Im a beginner Idk anything about football How do i go pro what are the skills i need to learn Is it important to learn extra skills like Rainbow stepover elastico
There’s a lot of things that are needed to become a pro. You need to have excellent technical ability. Be very comfortable on the ball. You need to be excellent in all of these: dribbling, passing, crossing, shooting, defending, athleticism, ball control & first touch. But it differs on positions. Strikers need to be excellent finishers, whereas it isn’t important for center backs. Center backs need to be excellent defenders, whereas it isn’t as important for strikers.. My advice for beginners. Master the basics. Dribbling in tight areas, dribbling at max speed, short passing, first touch, long pings, and defending. Then you need to learn as much as you can tactically. How to defend as a team, attacking patterns of play. How to scan and be aware of your surroundings. Learn how what makes one decision better than the other options, etc. Extra skills are not important at all. Learn 2 or 3 simple moves that are effective (not flashy). It’s way easier to mess up an elastico or a rainbow than it is to mess up a body feint or step over. I hope this helps and good luck on your playing journey😁🫶🏼

I can curve the shot and volley with my left foot perfectly but I still wasn’t successful on the power shot 😔 but ay this video will help
That’s awesome! You’ll get that technique down pretty quick since you can already do curlers and volleys. Good luck😁🙌🏼

Like you said, shooting with your strong foot feels amazing because you score bangers but then your weak foot makes you upset since it’s not as good…
This held me back for too long… Just push through it and then your weak foot will start improving and then it becomes way easier to prioritize it!!
I don’t know if it’s possible for your weak foot to dribble like roulette it’s so hard plz make a video abt mastering dribbling with your weak foot.
It totally is! It can be very tricky to learn but that’s just like with any skill for your weak foot. It just feels unnatural at the beginning…
My advice is to do the Left Foot only session I gave you every week. But if you really want to work on dribbling and skill moves, then use the 15 minutes (to work on any skill) specifically for your weak foot dribbling and skills!
This should really make a difference in your ability in a few months! Let me know how you progress😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
just got to click bro, title + video too interesting
I hope I delivered with what you were looking for😁🙌🏼
My weak foot is the right and I this actually kinda help a bit
That’s awesome! I’m glad my video has been helpful for you😊🫶🏼
I disagree with the part that you should master your strong foot First.
I hope that makes sense!

i never really thought about my strong foot (left) not being a good enough pivot leg... back to the drawing board
Now that you’re aware of the problem, you can resolve it!! That’s the first step in solving any problems to your game😁💪🏼
Now i js need to learn to improve my strong foot 😅
You got this! You can use these tips to improve your strong foot too! Time to get to work😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I have trained the weaker leg a lot and I can really do the basic things with it, but nothing more
Keep working hard! It’ll come💪🏼💪🏼
I already have a great weakfoot I think I was born with it but nice video
Thank you! You were blessed with a good weak foot! I was not😂😂
Can you do a video about improving first touch Ariel and ground one
Are you wanting drills or tips? Or both?

@@UNKNOWN-qt3ml I got you! If you check out the playlist on my channel called “First Touch Training Sessions” you’ll find 4 videos with different drills that’ll improve your first touch aerially and on the ground.

I used to kick with my toe and I fixed that like a year ago and I had to start completely fresh with my shooting style so maybe i can just do that with my left foot
Absolutely! It worked with your right foot so do the same with your left!

My problem was I couldn’t shoot with my eft dolly but I can dribble really good with it witch is good
Yes that is good! Time to work on your finishing then😁💪🏼💪🏼
Yeah I’m going to get goals in my back yard to soon so that will be helpful
@@IceColdSpeed that’s awesome! Enjoy!!
can u make a vid on cruving outside
Like a trivella?
In last 2 months i trained a lot in individual passing and dribbling during this month I only played few small sides games now I improved in drills but my speed of play scanning everything becomes very worse than before but my friend who have my same level doesn't trained and played last 2 months but his speed of play was better than me . I improved my technique but in game I am playing worse .
Sounds to me like you’re just a bit rusty on speed of play. It’s natural as you get back into games. There’s more pressure and you’re forced to do everything a bit quicker! Don’t worry! You’ll get back up to speed quickly and then you’ll be even better than before since your technique has improved😁💪🏼
i'll try this today
Let’s go😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
How does one shoot effectively off the dribble?
I’m good with a dead ball but if I’m dribbling then shoot it goes straight down the middle.
Can you make. A video about goalkick
Unfortunately I don’t have plans on making a video for goal kicks anytime soon. But I don’t have videos on long balls and pings which is very similar to how you would kick the ball for goal kicks! Check it out!

That’s awesome! I hope you’re enjoying the beautiful game! I’m sure this will help you with your weak foot😁
We are seeing this with Noni Madueke
when we dribble soccer .we should drive dricet to defender or space.
My weak foot is already prettt good but sometimes i can kick a top corner freekick but others times i can bary get it off the ground
Yooo if I want to be good at beating defenders in one v one what should I do
i used to play with my right foot which is my dominant but i havent played with football so when i started playing again i played with my left
I’m sure that helped you improve your left foot a lot!
POV Ronaldo what weak foot?
Ronaldo has a phenomenal weak foot
im naturally good at both of em, i use right for passes and left for fk(idk why but i get more curve with left foot)but my main is right
That’s great!
@@blobvis765 yeah. If you ever trained professionally, you will know how much power and resistance training can improve your level.
But, I have improved a lot from strengthening my weak foot then practicing soccer improved
Sigh*
I have been really good with my left foot for the past year but now im injured
I’m wishing you a speedy recovery🙌🏼🙌🏼
Im a beginner
Idk anything about football
How do i go pro what are the skills i need to learn
Is it important to learn extra skills like Rainbow stepover elastico
