Just to hear Tommy talking about music, you can feel that he is the greatest guitar player ever... And his words made me a guitar player than his playing... Thank you Tommy Emmanuel 🎸❤️

I am a fan of Tommy, but No, he is not "the greatest guitar player ever"... and I am sure Tommy knows that too.

Tommy seriously is one of God’s gifts! When Ronald Reagan died I was upset. When Ray Charles Died I was shattered. I was in my first year (1980) when Lennon was shot to death it felt like to me the dark clouds wouldn’t leave. When Tom Petty passed, I never played a bluer version of Breakdown and never will! Legends? Yes rejoice while we got em! TE and EC these are Legends but better, they make everyone feel better. SRV, BB, Jose Feliciano. Please just listen to Carlos and Jose join to play Samba Pa Ti. Thanks for the post.

Cool interview, but the Jesus Christ Superstar tour poster in the video (at 0m30s) is from the rather lame 2012 UK cast tour, not the long-revered 1975/1976 Australia one, that's referenced by Tommy. That was where Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock first met each other (both being in the chorus) and Tommy, who came on-board as the tour guitarist. The three leads were 1972 cast originals, Trevor White, Jon English plus Mary-come-lately Chrissie Hammond (excellent and very versatile vocalist - founder member of Air Supply in 1975, while all three were on the JCS tour; fronted Cheetah, alongside sister Lindsay, 1976-1984 and became Rick Wakeman's prefered lead vocalist for over 12 albums).
