Hi Tiffanysopretty88! To answer your question, YES we always numb with lidocaine before we inject fillers. We like to keep our patients comfy! Oh, and check out this blog post about lip fillers in particular--it's a sensitive area so patients are often worried about pain, but we've found an easy way to keep the pain to a minimum. I have a severely receding deformed chin no one will do jaw surgery because of the state of my teeth no one ever told me I needed it or I would have done it 25 years ago I had a little filler done a year and a half ago and it gave me such self-confidence I looked so good but it was still too far back so I had it done again about 10 months later but I went somewhere else and he made it look terrible and I don't know if it always happens or is it this person did it wrong? The first one it looked nice like a female 10 the second one it looks like a big bulky mans chin It is so ugly and I'm so embarrassed and I don't know what to do the person I originally went to I went back there and he doesn't know how to fix it but it's severely receded again but it's still bulky and ugly
Hi krisinua, thank you so much for your comment. I'm so sorry you're going through this predicament right now -- I understand it can be incredibly frustrating when your filler doesn't go as planned. The chin is a tricky area because as you know, too much filler in the wrong places can make it look masculine and bulky when that may not be the result we're looking for. Depending on what type of filler was used, it may be possible to dissolve the filler. Another possibility is adding more filler to alter the results. Check out one of our cases, a woman who previously had a short, square chin that we made v-shaped: www.yourfaceinourhands.com/gallery/refresh-rejuvenate/full-face-rejuvenation/519/ To protect your privacy, we can best answer your personal questions at www.yourfaceinourhands.com/lets-connect/contact-us/.
