I understand that being on your knees is being mindful and giving upmost reverence to God, and who He is, however, my knees are very bad and to remain on my knees for the duration of my prayers is extremely painful for me. What about paraplegics? Or those that are bedridden? Matthew 6:6 “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Also, God searches the hearts of all men. I had a near fatal accident in 1998, and the tell tale signs and pains from my fingers to.my shoulders and neck near completely gone. Fingers Shoulders completely gone. Only neck little pain,but I know will be gone very soon. Before I can't drive long hours my neck pains,or turn 60 degrees to my shoulder blade section attempt to look backwards -pain. Sadly, the lack of knowledge has given the enemy place in many believers prayer lives. So: 1) Repent for not praying the way God instructed you to pray (" pray without ceasing). 2) Forgive yourself for not praying the way you know you should. Don't allow the enemy to condem you for falling short in prayer and give up 3) Fast (dedicate time to fast to break the stronghold off your orayer life) It can be any type of fast but it has to be consistent and dedicated to dealing with the attack on your prayer. Seek God ❤ 4) Educate yourself on the power of prayer by studying the word of God, hearing the voice of God and listening to powerful men and women on the revelation of prayer. 5) Read, study and/or meditate on the word of God daily.

Not quite. True to some extent, but Jesus was expounding on the dangers of "advertising" one's holiness. Lewis is teaching heresy. No scripture to back it up, either. While Lewis is pointing out obvious hindrances to prayer he enters the territory where "only the holy can pray." Lewis is full of nonsense, or rather, full of himself.

Speaking in tongues is a good start to praying in the Spirit as the Spirit helps our infirmities. That leads us to praying with the understanding.

I agree with the majority of this video except the part about getting on one’s knees. I understand that being on your knees is being mindful and giving upmost reverence to God, and who He is, however, my knees are very bad and to remain on my knees for the duration of my prayers is extremely painful for me. What about paraplegics? Or those that are bedridden?

I had a near fatal accident in 1998, and the tell tale signs and pains from my fingers to.my shoulders and neck near completely gone. Fingers Shoulders completely gone. Only neck little pain,but I know will be gone very soon. Before I can't drive long hours my neck pains,or turn 60 degrees to my shoulder blade section attempt to look backwards -pain. But now great improvement. Used to be on NSAID drugs snd Physiotherapist. But today no drugs for those pains and sacked my Physiotherapist 😂😂😅😅😅, to the Glory of God. The glorious thing is that,I NEVER prayed for those healing. Like I said that accident was in 1998, I am now in my mid 50's. I started visiting a Physiotherapist 2001,when d pains became unbearable. Unknown to me, when I started exercising my gift of Tongues, this Lovibg merciful Father of us,felt my pains more ,and was praying for my healing-The Spirit searches Romans 8 :26 -28. I just realised d pains started going and I was like Whao, what a Beautiful sweet God😊❤❤. And I intensified my prayers in Tongues
Tongues for Personal Edification is the game Changer for all Believers, but even the chuch with wrong doctrines fighting it. Satan took his fight to the church. And obviously so because both Satan and his Cousins don't know what we pray about when we pray in tongues, hence cant monitor or work against answers. Remember Daniel and his 20 day fast? How the Prince of Persia intercepted answer to his prayers??Well , Tongues is God's answer to that, for my opinion. . Its frustrating to the fallen Angels. They don't know about this utterance. During one of my long hours praying in Tongues 2019, ,8 hours stretch (this is better on Fridays Saturdays Evening into d night or Saturday wake up early say 4AM, by 12 noon PM U already hit 8 hours fellowshipping enjoying koinonia with your creator) And nobody except your immediate family will know this. After like six months I started feeling pains on that right thigh, but because of that flashback during my prayer time and that I obeyed and started praying daily against any problems with my thighs, I had this confidence assurance that the pain won't last .And indeed it did not. Holy Spirit already prayed for my total healng, He went shead of the future. So God had completely prevented what would have brought me pains latter in life.

Exactly!! God knows how we are wired, He is the Manufacturer. And why He gave us the gift of Tongues such that as long as our mouth is open and Tongues released ,He gives the utterance. God knows the mind can decide to hoover or be elsewhere ,doesn't interfere with our prayers.

Kind Sir...Juliet Simon...I believe we should pray First to Jesus only; and then, and then only; open our Bibles! Now MOST Christians would say the opposite! And I did that for 75 yrs of my 92 Yrs age. But NO more...I believe Jesus' Holy Spirit; urged me to CLOSE my bibles; and pray to Jesus.
And for the last 17 yrs, has been SO Joyful unlike EVER! And I believe; that is the case was; I asked Jesus praying; asking for "Wisdom, Understanding and the Truths. Because Jesus is the ONLY "inerrant and Infallible Being!" Forever!

Sadly, the lack of knowledge has given the enemy place in many believers prayer lives. So:
1) Repent for not praying the way God instructed you to pray (" pray without ceasing).
2) Forgive yourself for not praying the way you know you should. Don't allow the enemy to condem you for falling short in prayer and give up
3) Fast (dedicate time to fast to break the stronghold off your orayer life) It can be any type of fast but it has to be consistent and dedicated to dealing with the attack on your prayer. Seek God ❤
4) Educate yourself on the power of prayer by studying the word of God, hearing the voice of God and listening to powerful men and women on the revelation of prayer.
5) Read, study and/or meditate on the word of God daily.
