I know we are supposed to have faith and I actually do have faith, but sometimes it’s so hard to just rest in God despite what’s going on because what’s going on can be so darn loud and obnoxious. We begin to fear in the midst of the chaos we see today. Fear creates unrest & anger when listening to those who's job is to spread hate. Instead open the Word of God, find that promise of peace that passes all understanding. The Holy Spirit will be your guide in every situation. If He lives within you He will never leave you or forsake you. Put your Trust in Jesus only. Turn off the noise that distracts you.

@@7Hocine7 Not so. Matthew 7:21-23 refers to people who are false disciples. They still think they are correct but they have a twisted thought process due to their self-righteous behaviours. I'm not saying this as a person that wants to disagree with you but C. S. Lewis was able to articulate things very well. For example, have you heard people say "God told me that this is my calling"? It doesn't mean it's their calling though as it might be their own wants and not God's will and purpose in their life. My own parents and in-laws are Christians but I can tell they have weaknesses whereby they lack a peace. There's also the parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30. So to be more accurate on what you originally said, I would say that every Christian has the opportunity from God to be anointed if the Christina truly allows God to work in their lives. It's basically living in the spirit vs living in the flesh like so many do. Just look how the flesh can take over when Peter denied Christ. Jesus died for Peter too and Peter is an original, first-hand disciple.
Not all who say, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven; so not every christian has the anointing of GOD. Only the true believers in CHRIST JESUS, those who have truly surrendered their minds, heart and soul to HIM and believe in HIM, are anointed by the Holy Spirit of GOD. I’ve been troubled & confounded by the sinful state of our world. How am I to respond? What am I supposed to do? After listening to a sermon by Dr David Jeremiah, God spoke. He does not expect me to do anything but lift the chaos, evil, & outcome to him each day. Praying is my part. Each day lift my observations & concerns to him, & pray. I was worrying, & that is not in his plans for a believer, it’s disobedience.
Concerns are consuming us, drowning out the voice of God. Turn off all the noise from those who spread hate. Find His promises in His Word. Peace will quickly replace the fear that trys to build a nest within your thoughts. If we allow it to stay the fear will multiply into anger & stress, ultimately sickness, suffering & early death. Our purpose is to stay healthy to spread the gospel to the lost. The fear renders us useless for our calling. Together with Jesus, we will overcome evil attacks. Pray for supernatural strength, wisdom & knowledge to recognize the real enemy in disguise. Armor up with the word & you'll be equipped for spiritual battle. God's got this! Remember victory is ours in the end!

To all who are filled with fear by the chaos you're seeing everywhere, turn off the noise that distracts, allowing fear to build a nest within your thoughts. It gives birth to anger & stress which will multiply & steal your peace rendering you useless for spreading the gospel. The enemy knows his time is short so expect to see more & more attacks against the body of Christ. We have the power to defeat him. Pray, go to the Word then Suit up with the armor of God. The enemy comes in disguise. We carry the Spirit of truth within. He will reveal the evil one and Prepare us for ongoing Battles. With the power of God we will overcome!
I found exercise and eating healthy works wonders for stress with out the need to believe in magical and unproven deities. You should try it some time.
They only seem that way to you because you don't know Jesus Christ. I've had God intervene so many times that it's a statistical improbability. Over the last 45 years of my life that he doesn't exist. I can't begin to tell you the incredible miracles that have happened. You wouldn't even believe it, but they're Way beyond any human capability. I'm a registered nurse and I've seen endless miracles when I pray for my patients including them coming to life from the dead. On two occasions. I've seen heaven. I've seen visions of Jesus Christ walking along the river for children that I know was real. Because the realm was so far transcended this Earth. I've survived. Incredible! Catastrophes through God's wisdom. Just 2 months ago a fire where God had. We sleep in my living room and woke me up at 2:00 in the morning to 70 ft high flames and 50 ft wide to get me out and he saved place in all my belongings. Well things around me burn to the ground. I can tell that story so many times I can't count it. I feel sorry for you, but you don't know the god that does so many miracles that they could not be one in a trillion. In the beginning of my transformation I was alarmed by all awakenings coming from understanding of how the world works. To nurse the peace from the holy spirit you need to look into the source of that peace, not the world and that is to be close to the one that gave you your peace, Jesus Christ! The holy spirit does not grow and prosper in the world but within you and from the source!
I have been listening to C.S. Lewis for a couple weeks now and I’ve never heard such a pastor who goes in depth like he does. It’s as if he dissects the mind and helps you to see errors in your life or areas where you’re blessed which you didn’t notice before. Anyways,I appreciate his life and his preaching. With respect, we are all charged with soul EVOLVING through healing our personal experiences. There are no special annointed ones; we can all be angels. To set others apart as annointed, infers others are not capable of becoming highly enlighted. Enlightenment only comes from the journey WITHIN, not without and we all have equal opportunity to do that. We all walk a spiritual path, its a matter of whether we're aware of it or not.

I experienced this during/after the lockdown business, when I gave up all hope. I'd never believed my entire life, and I haven't been the same since. Not sure if I'll ever understand *why* I'd be helped by some unseen force, out of all the people who deserve it more.

The Church I used to go to was big on all of us doing greater things and thats what i thought my purpose was supposed to be. But Most of us Christians are foot soldiers, not Generals. You can have peace and not be anointed. All of Gods people are to have peace. If you are anointed you will go through a supreme path of SUFFERING. You will have a powerful testimony. Peace does not determine anointing

Well I'm certainly not annointed then. The turmoil I deal with on a daily basis isn't belied by a deep seated peace of annointment. I'm just grateful to be saved. The alternative is terrible. I'm thankful to be chosen in that respect, and praise God for that.

For example, have you heard people say "God told me that this is my calling"? It doesn't mean it's their calling though as it might be their own wants and not God's will and purpose in their life. So to be more accurate on what you originally said, I would say that every Christian has the opportunity from God to be anointed if the Christina truly allows God to work in their lives. I’ve been troubled & confounded by the sinful state of our world. How am I to respond? What am I supposed to do? After listening to a sermon by Dr David Jeremiah, God spoke. He does not expect me to do anything but lift the chaos, evil, & outcome to him each day. Praying is my part. Each day lift my observations & concerns to him, & pray. I was worrying, & that is not in his plans for a believer, it’s disobedience.
Concerns are consuming us, drowning out the voice of God. Turn off all the noise from those who spread hate. Find His promises in His Word. Peace will quickly replace the fear that trys to build a nest within your thoughts. If we allow it to stay the fear will multiply into anger & stress, ultimately sickness, suffering & early death. Our purpose is to stay healthy to spread the gospel to the lost. The fear renders us useless for our calling. Together with Jesus, we will overcome evil attacks. Pray for supernatural strength, wisdom & knowledge to recognize the real enemy in disguise. Armor up with the word & you'll be equipped for spiritual battle. God's got this! Remember victory is ours in the end!
We have to keep our eyes on His Coming and keep our eyes on Heaven. It's not hard to feel what you are feeling, I got it too. But we must endure till the end. Amen 🙏

I found exercise and eating healthy works wonders for stress with out the need to believe in magical and unproven deities. You should try it some time.
They only seem that way to you because you don't know Jesus Christ. I've had God intervene so many times that it's a statistical improbability. Over the last 45 years of my life that he doesn't exist. I can't begin to tell you the incredible miracles that have happened. You wouldn't even believe it, but they're Way beyond any human capability. I'm a registered nurse and I've seen endless miracles when I pray for my patients including them coming to life from the dead. On two occasions. I've seen heaven. I've seen visions of Jesus Christ walking along the river for children that I know was real. Because the realm was so far transcended this Earth. I've survived. Incredible! Catastrophes through God's wisdom. Just 2 months ago a fire where God had. We sleep in my living room and woke me up at 2:00 in the morning to 70 ft high flames and 50 ft wide to get me out and he saved place in all my belongings. Well things around me burn to the ground. I can tell that story so many times I can't count it. I feel sorry for you, but you don't know the god that does so many miracles that they could not be one in a trillion. Probably that there isn't a God because there's just too many situations where he leads by his holy spirit. I hope you find Jesus Christ.@@TboneWTF
In the beginning of my transformation I was alarmed by all awakenings coming from understanding of how the world works. To nurse the peace from the holy spirit you need to look into the source of that peace, not the world and that is to be close to the one that gave you your peace, Jesus Christ! The holy spirit does not grow and prosper in the world but within you and from the source!

With respect, we are all charged with soul EVOLVING through healing our personal experiences. There are no special annointed ones; we can all be angels. To set others apart as annointed, infers others are not capable of becoming highly enlighted. Enlightenment only comes from the journey WITHIN, not without and we all have equal opportunity to do that. We all walk a spiritual path, its a matter of whether we're aware of it or not.
