I'm sure we are not to overcome fear and anxiety because the Lord Himself has already done that for us. We died in Christ, We are dead to sin. Fear and anxiety are sin. We rest in His victory over fear and anxiety. We can be tempted to fear and tempted to be anxious but we do not have to yield.

@@Shofargirl1 We all have different experiences but the same Lord. Anxiety can come and go, but the Lord is still the same. Satan is an anxious spirit. Remember you are dealing with the spirit world. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but of Power and of Love and of a sound Mind. Anxiety stems from fear of something. Simply refuse it and then hold your ground of being In Christ and the devil will flee but you must hold your ground. Don't yield to panic. be strong in the Lord and in the Power of His might.
