Hi Sarah! "Scubscribe"? lol. Anyway, congrats! I was a very active blogger and started blogging when my kids were in middle school. My goal was that I didn't want anyone googling their names and finding MY content. That seems, to me, to be the worst sort of encroaching on their lives. SO, I handled this by never using their names on my blog. My blog was a sewing blog and I would occasionally show their pictures, but only referred to them as DD1 and DD2. The blog was mostly about sewing my own clothes. This was a good strategy. They are now adults and do appreciate that googling their names doesn't surface my blog. Just a perspective I wanted to share. Oh, one more thing. Gender is SO unimportant. WHO CARES. DD2, especially, was grateful that I never cared about that stuff. I dressed both of my baby girls in blue because they had the most beautiful blue eyes (besides, I dislike pink). They are now both strong, independent women and I am very proud of them. Please ignore all the gender stuff. I never bought my kids pink plastic toys, etc. That sort of thing drives me nuts. Anyway, all the best on your very exciting journey!

We travelled to the states when she was 3, caught the Halloween bug at Disneyland and all the festivity that we saw, came home and wanted to keep enjoying the magic as a family. Wallaa! We learned a reason why a content creator (who at the time was alone in doing it) reasons for not sharing her child’s face. Eyes in particular. Autonomy was a key reason. Mainly due to the fact that predators connect with the eyes. That has still never left me to this day. By all means make the choice that’s best for you and yours. Just wanted to share that knowledge incase it hasn’t come in your path. Congrats again!! ♥️
