I also enjoyed the joke they told.
Kinda reminds me of this necromancer I played in DnD. At high levels we started meeting various gods, and she was terrified of meeting the god of death.

I love that Kronii from both the 2D model in the computer screen, and the 3D model from the animation, have synchronised blinking. Small details like these truly makes an animation more amazing :D

yeah, I wish they just stuck to making random videos instead of lore related ones, cause they're only making things worse. Just leave that stuff to the fans, the "lore makers" in EN are clearly smoking something
@@Vitou777 Honestly, this is just an animation of what happened in a past stream. Whether this is accepted lore or not is probably up to us, the fans, or the talents themselves. Heck, unless they specifically come out with clarified lore about this, we can interpret this in any way we want. If anything, they're probably just trying to toss us a bone for us to go nuts and have fun with.
And as someone who LOVES the Hololive lore, I enjoy them giving us little bits of lore to fantasize and theorize about.
@@granoonis2080 as someone who also loves HoloEN lore, so much that I'm writing a fanfiction about them which currently has over 160k words, I don't like it when things make no sense in it, which is almost always ngl.
And Kronii having a watch also makes no sense cause she should be able to time travel without any device. So yeah, that last part just kinda annoyed me, as it was completely unnecessary and only made the established lore more confusing than it already was.
And if Cover really cared about lore the way you claim, they wouldn't have gotten rid of Omega and changed CouncilRys lore into the dogshit mess that it is now, which I wouldn't even classify as lore anymore.
It immediately made me think of the time rings in DBS where you have 1 Silver Ring the Supreme Kai wears and then a Jade Ring for every alternate timeline that’s been created. There’s 1 Kronii and multiple Ame’s so that means 1 silver watch and multiple gold watches. So maybe Kronii’s is the master watch with each timeline having a gold watch that Ame swipes from Kronii. Or Ame created her watch based on Kronii’s, but multiple Ame’s constantly swiping watches from Kronii makes more sense with the bit they were doing
@@Vitou777Lore is created mostly by the talents themselves and is different depending on the series, Holo Graffiti Lore is separate to streaming lore, which is separate to Holo Alt Lore, not to mention Holo Family Tree Lore which is its own thing altogether
Kronii and Ame came up with the time rivalry bit themselves. With this stream adding the suggestion that Ame may have swiped her gold watch from Kronii. All the animator did was take the clip from the stream and give Kronii her own watch as the Warden of Time. It’s up to Kronii and Ame to decide if Kronii’s watch is just a regular watch, a device to channel her power, the original time traveling watch, it was deliberately left ambiguous so Kronii and Ame could use it however they want

There's a theory that Kronii probably in the future gave the watch to Ame as a kid or an adult and, AME basically modified it
I mean like infinity stone in loki, there is one each in every timeline
Lore implies that Ame as a child had been attempting to make her own Time Machine, but it was supposed to kill her. However, after the failing machine exploded, she escaped death when Calli intervened after giving her an existential crisis. (Calli put out an animated video if you want more details)
So, just making assumptions, Ame’s original fate was altered and she eventually made it to Hololive’s offices under the guise of an investigator, crossed paths with the Warden of Time and stole her watch. Thus, her powers over timelines. From a viewers perspective, Ame preemptively gathered the Myth before Council and Project Hope and had a hand in steering the destinies of the EN branch.
@@kinoleogeo7998 how did she steal the watch though? And why would Kronii even need it? She's the embodiment of time, she doesn't need a watch to go to other timelines.

In 0:29 you can see that Ame's watch is golden, and Kronii has a Silver one. Probably there are some restrictions on the silver watch that the Golden hasn't and that's why Ame still has it
@@FromTheDeck Perhaps the difference is that Ame's also allows her to travel between dimensions, while Kronii's only goes through time.

I always thought it would be cool if Kronii got the watch from an elderly lady and her dog at the beginning of time which would later be stolen by Ame. Making the watch a paradox with no beginning or end.
Or at the end of time Kronii then gives it to baby Ame

I think it's just because in this timeline Ame didn't stole the watch yet. Making the two watch the same but at two différents time making it a paradox to bé reunited in the same room

That sounds like something they shouldn't be doing. They're supposed to send souls to Heaven, Hell or Purgatory, protecting people would be counter-productive.
And this still doesn't explain how she got the watch in the first place. Stealing it from Kronii makes no sense.

This is from Kronii's 1st birthday stream. That's nostalgic. I can't believe it's already nearly 2 years since then, and we still don't know how Ame got that watch. Time really flies (and time travelers flee).
How Ame got that watch will probably be one of the most beloved mysteries for us fans. Heck, them revealing how she got it might ruin it for us.

Honestly, I love how they just feed us lore without actually answering questions. I don't think Hololive will ever live up to our expectations for our lore, and I think they know that. So, why attempt when they can just feed us just enough to expand on the lore ourselves?

I'm thankful we at least have this bit of holo lore that gets referenced regularly outside the girls occasionally remembering what there character is. Something I really like in Holostars is they reference there lore a lot more often but I guess they have easier lore to work into conversations. Ruze practically has the whole of South Elysium built in his head and just converts all his life stories to work in it.
