- Brooke went through a tough divorce when her daughter was just one year old. She spent six years as a single parent, which was challenging and often made her feel alone and inadequate. However, her faith in Jesus Christ gave her the strength to navigate this difficult period and raise her daughter with love and care. Brooke later found a wonderful man and got married. Their faith in Jesus Christ continues to guide them in their parenting decisions.

So inspired by this woman. Also, if you’re someone who’s mistreated a partner, or even a friend, you hurt them and stripped them of confidence, say sorry. It won’t heal every hurt, but it can help towards someone’s healing.

The world will tell you "your passion" has to be outside of the home, and that motherhood is oppressive etc.. I'm grateful for those who are content with simply being a great parent etc..

Taking care of children is now "oppressive" ?? I'm so grateful for the gospel and the Spirit that helps us to see above the voices of this world.
I have family who know Jesus Christ as just someone from very distant past. Their world is upside-down with children dealing with today's problems. Money does not buy happiness, Jesus Christ brings happiness.
Brooke, I walk by your artwork every day at Gateway Mall. I watched you paint it all over that summer. I appreciate your testimony of Christ and will be reminded of it each day I walk by those amazing murals

What a wonderful person she is! Love the art. I thought of "With God nothing is impossible" and "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I know parenting is not easy (we have four, and they are sweet, but not always to each other) and I need God "every hour."

Tough times make tough individuals and when the Lords on your side, you’re even that much stronger. I’ve had a similar situation as you. And I’m a much better person for going down such a hard road! Definitely makes you not as judgmental when you’ve been on the bottom.

Thanks of your testimony it adds to my testimony that Heavenly Father and his only begotten son Jesus Christ that they are individuals separate being and glorified , that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. This month of October is a Testimony month and I love to hear all the testimonies from other different countries, and that we have a living prophet , and the President of the Church of the Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Russel M Nelson,is a prophet here on earth

The church doesn't support divorce. I am 54 and divorced and I'm required to go to family ward because of my age of 54...

Not new. It always has been.
@@roauelino, these principles are blatantly against the doctrine of God. Wickedness never was happiness, God will not be mocked. There are multiple kingdoms for a reason. Not everyone will be saved to the fullest extent because of agency. That is a core doctrine. The belief that God is just a big teddy bear and all will get a free ticket into the celestial kingdom is a false doctrine.
