You are truly talented, and this is a beautiful song. I was hoping I might be able to learn the lyre, but at 63 and no musical background, so much of this (flats, majors, measures, triplet fields...) is over my head. I was so hoping to use the lyre for worship in my personal time, but it may end up being a joyful, loving noise indeed.

Thank you once again for your kind words. I do wish that I could simply reach out and give the technical skill to you so that you are able to play as you had hoped...! I had hoped that by going one note at a time that the tutorial would be accessible to those even with little to no background in musical language. I understand though that it's quite difficult to pick up something new ! Is there anything specific that you would find helpful for me to teach perhaps in a different tutorial video? Hoping to help as I'm able through this medium.
Additionally, if it's of interest and/or encouragement to you, the songs on the "Singing with David" album are designed to be more simple and to be used for prayer (for those who like to sing). This may not be the way you're desiring to worship but wanted to let you know just in case. I hope to do several more note-by-note tutorials for some of those songs but haven't quite gotten to it at this time.
      God bless you!

@@enfoldedheartmusic I think what you are providing is amazing!
Dealing with long term Covid and its cognitive impact, I was hoping I could learn the lyre. Watching you tutorial was a bit of a reality check.
You play so beautifully! I was hoping to be able to learn some basics and eventually play by ear. Please continue your tutorials as you are doing them... your patience is amazing, and willingness to break the pieces down so that one can learn segment by segment, at their own pace, and then putting the whole song together at the end perfect. I know many are blessed and thankful to be learning from you ❣

@@LifeExtraordinaire Thank you so much for your words... I am both grateful to hear your thoughts about the tutorials and yet am sorry to hear about your sufferings from covid. I hope the lyre can still be a source of joy and delight for you as God desires. As you said before, a joyful and loving noise (: ( always appreciated that part of the psalm).
Thank you again for your thoughts and encouragement regarding the tutorials. It's quite helpful to receive some feedback from someone with your background.
May God bless you and may his peace hold you always!

Can you make traveler’s path too please? Your songs are beautiful, and I want to play them with my own lyre

It may be a bit, but I'm happy to do one for traveler's path. It'll be a little tougher since quite a bit of that was semi improv but I'll do my best to put something together that's helpful ! And it's really a delight to hear about your desire to play the songs .... thanks so much for sharing this ! Feel free to let me know if I can be of any further help to you.
