Any charger that only accepts batteries in pairs will, by definition, ALWAYS either under- or overcharge one battery of each pair. In this day and age the only acceptable chargers that belong on a 'best' list must accept single cells and monitor the state of each one individually. There are $6 chargers from Ikea that do this while your included Energizer does not.
I'm actually here to replace the energizer recharger, don't grab it. It tells you batteries can be recharged and won't recharge them when they're perfectly fine. Also they just straight up stop working after a bit and the plug sticks out which I don't enjoy.
I'm sorry but any review that would put EBL even in the top 5 for charging batteries isn't worth the lip service. EBL battery chargers are junk. They never charge the batteries up to full capacity. And EBL batteries often over exagerrate their capacities. Although I do use EBL batteries I prefer to use them in. Battery charger that will report just how many mah it's putting into the cells. Most accept about 2300-2400mah, Youshiko chargers are about the best for this imo.

Audio clear agonizingly dumbed-down. adjective-laden and frquently incomplete or just wrong.
