Saw him in a small venue in the university district in Seattle about 10 years ago and it is and will forever be the greatest show that I’ve ever seen. True artist!
Most of the time you hear city and colour doing stripped down acoustic music but this version of Sometimes is by far my favorite song by them ever. Daniels guitar is on point and Dallas' voice is impeccable.
If I was a simple man Would we still walk hand in hand? And if I suddenly went blind Would you still look in my eyes? What happens when I grow old? And all my stories have been told? Will your heart still race for me? Or will it march to a new beat? If I was a simple man If I was a simple man I'd own no home, I'd own no land Would you still stand by my side? And would our flame still burn so bright? Sometimes I wonder why I'm so full of these endless rhymes About the way I feel inside I wish I could just get a ride If I was a simple man And I could make you understand There'd be no reason to think twice You'd be my sun, you'd be my light If I was a simple man If I was a simple man Sometimes I wonder why I'm so full of these endless rhymes About the way I feel inside I wish Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes
When I bought the poster/vinyl package from their last Canadian tour, the live version of this song was on that record, and it sounds AHmazing. Mind you I can't put it on my iPod...
@alinemoreirac1 I've been to a city & colourconcert recently and to be honest. You're just paralyzed by his amazing voice and you don't want any noise disturbing it.
@licandres01 this is from his other album... wow i drew a blank fuck! its from its his first one i think. on my iphone its ablum is called Somtimes... sooo i'm guessing thats the album.
I mean to each his own, everyone has an opinion lol I love both. I suppose this just feels a bit deeper and fuller simply due to the full band ensemble. But I still love the acoustic. I feel he has progressed in all of his music since the first album, which was good and I love, but wasn't nearly as Clean as anything he does now.
Sometimes will forever be my favourite album, however it puts a really great twist on it when you’re there live. I wish he’d play Hello I’m In Delaware acoustically now instead of the bluesy version he does but any Dallas song is great.
Absolutely the best version of those song I've ever heard!!!
I've listened to this song for years, but this version, man. Whew. Stellar!
I didn't think that this song could get any better... then he had to throw in a little Patti Smith and prove me wrong. Inspiring!

I listened to this back in high school, now it still sends shivers down my spine.
he needs to re record his albums with this more bluesy jammed out style so sick
We are the luckiest 107k... what a performance, even for 2020 this is 🤌
wow, the lighting and filming crew did an absolute stunning job
An this guy is so talented, what an underrated musician
He just solves everything. Or at least gives me time to drown in his music and genius lyricism until I calm down and think things through.
because the night belongs to us..
His voice maaaan. It's GOLDEN

this is by far the greatest version!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was Springsteen's song originally.
does anyone might know what pedals dallas is using for this amazing song =)
Am I the only one who disagrees and thinks that this song and the rest of his first album sounds better solo acoustic

it's good both ways.
