    Start to finish masterful. At a certain point I just forget it’s a demo and I get mesmerized by RJ’s playing. Like I’m following a story down a rabbit hole and inside the mind of the hero.

      Clearly you have never seen the master of the telecaster. I suggest watching the build up but he reveals the magic at the 2:11 mark.

    That opening groove is one of the tightest jams I've ever heard. That skanky single note grooving at the end shows just how much can be expressed with one note. Always wanted a Nashville Tele...

What an incredible tonal colours you get out of this guitar is astounding. You don't need any other guitar this will do it all. By seeing this review I am going to get one of these beautiful guitars
    Thank you once again for this amazing review. All the very best to you in the future. Terry Quinn.

    Sounds phenomenal, I wasn't sold on nashville teles before but the playing and the tones from this wow. That being said I prefer the look of a classic 2 pup tele

      I find the white middle p/u a little off-putting aesthetically, but it sure sounds great!

    • @duffman18
      @duffman18 2 года назад +4

      On any good nashville tele, you still have the exact same tones as a normal telecaster, you just have EXTRA ones on top of that. You can get the middle positions, position 2 and 4 on a strat, or you can get the classic tele middle position with the bridge and neck pickups only, with the middle one switched off.
      I have a Mexican fender strat that does the same thing but the other way around. It has 3 normal strat pickups, but it also has a button on it that turns on the bridge pickup. So if you're in the neck position, you can turn on the bridge pickup and get that tele twang tone. Or you can even be in the 4th position, with the neck and middle pickups on, and then press the button then to turn on all 3 pickups at once, it's the absolute twangiest tone I've ever found. It's like a tele but supercharged with the twanginess.
      But I'd definitely like a nashville style tele as well. There's still enough of a difference between the tones that you can't just have a strat or a tele on its own, you have to have both.

    • @tomrwills
      @tomrwills 2 года назад +1

      @@MrJones-ge5sl agree on the look. Some teles from the 90s I think had a nickle plate over the strat pickup to match the tele neck pickup. I think they were called the V2. I know etsy and other online places sell strat pickup covers that match the tele cover.

    That’s funny. I had one of these in the early 2000s and I had to wire in my own push pull pot to turn on the bridge pickup in the neck pickup position. Looks like fender finally got the message

    Sounds great. What's the difference between this and the Nashville Deluxe?

    • @larryb5496
      @larryb5496 3 года назад +2

      This one has a push/pull tone pot that allows you to play the bridge & neck pups together, or all three together. Nashville deluxe players who wanted that had to mod the switching. This one has a wider neck at the nut, and it has a belly contour on the back of the body. This one sells for $30 more at the moment. I've had a Nashville Deluxe for almost five years and have been very happy with its versatility. This one is even more versatile and for only $30 more it's probably worth it.
