Love them. I wandered into guitar center and after getting a squire tele . I went back to get something a little more quality . Picked up the stratocaster player series HSS plus top, sienna sunburst and was just thrilled with it. Hadn't had a good guitar in a while. Maple neck, with the humbucker near bridge, the player series is really pleasing my palate taste. Highly recommend. Thanks for video really enjoyed it. Subscribed.
I think I got the same guitar although I don't think the Player came in a sienna burst. Mine is called a plus top aged cherry which everyone refers to as the cherry burst. At any rate it is almost the same as the sienna burst.
Player plus top strat is special edition color, sienna sunburst, that’s what I says on sticker any. I wish I had gotten that aged cherry. But the sierra caught my eye.
I've got the Silver Smoke tele. I've never been a Fender fan, but I've always disliked strats. Tried the Silver Smoke player plus tele on a whim. Wound up liking it even more than premium American teles.
These are great sounding guitars, but I think the most important takeaway from this is "over-egg the pudding". That saying will now become a part of my vocabulary. Thanks Jack!
I can't be the only one that thinks the Pau Ferro boards on the Player Series guitars look terrible. It just looks very very cheap. Luckily the maple fretboard option looks great as usual. I also don't like the new popsicle colors on the Plus line. They're sounding great though!
I bought a Player cherry burst HSS strat earlier in 2021 and went with the maple fretboard for just this reason. All these talking heads are trying their best to put lipstick on the Pau Ferro fretboards so Fender will sell them but it ain't going to be to me...
If you find a guitar you like...but don't like the pau ferro board....do what I did....lightly sand the board with some 600 grit sand paper and stain it. It darkens the wood a bit....evens out the color...and makes it resemble rosewood. Granted it takes a couple hours....but the results are impressive.
I wish they would darken up the pau ferro boards. I have no issues with using the material but light brown necks are off putting to me in the same way an upside down headstock is. It’s just not the look I want. Personal opinion only

Not a big fan of Fender Noiseless pickups. I'm glad I've got my American Special Tele and Strat (prior to the Performers) with the Texas Special pickups. Sure, they have extra "noise", but the frequencies coming out of those pickups make up for the hum.
Any more details on these noiseless pickups? Are they made in Mexico? As I see it, Fender has been continually improving its noiseless pickups starting with the Vintage Noiseless, then SCN, N3, Gen 4, and finally Ultra. Are these Player Plus Noiseless pickups the successor to the Ultra? If not, where do they fit in Fender’s noiseless pickup lineup?
Been playing guitar for 36 years. Never owned a Fender or a strat! Always PRS, Ibanez and Maverick. So I thought I’d get a player plus Fender. I got the tequila sunrise. Well unfortunately it arrived and the action and fret buzz was appalling. On the treble side, action was 2.5mm! Any adjustment of the saddles meant that I had buzz everywhere. Notes were choking out on bends. Just awful. Intonation was miles out too. There were other build qualities too. Spoke to the guitar shop and they said I must be unlucky so they sent another. This one was 2.2mm at 12th fret. Intonation was ok’ish. Fret buzz absolutely terrible. But worse this time was a paint or lacquer overspray on the frets. Some of it I could peel off, some of it was really stubborn. You could feel it under the strings as you played. So I sent it back too. Not great for $1000 dollar guitar. Really sad because the tequila sunrise looked great! I have pictures of the quality issues.
I'm left handed, all I want is a fender USA Stratocaster in fiesta red for around 1200 to 1500 pounds. Cant get one anywhere. Can you help Peach guitars?
The green tele looks great. In not a fan of the faded strat colours but I really like the fact they have gone for a 12 inch radius board. Another really great review from peach guitars. Some of the best reviewers on the tube

As a fellow lefty, I get you. Probably not because it’s in that 800-1200 dollar range that fender tends not to offer anything lefty. Too bad cause I would really like to try out a Nashville tele.
They're great guitars, but there are two issues: 1) The noiseless pickups don't quite have the traditional single coil cut. They're more like humbuckers (since they are essentially humbuckers). 2) For the money, you can get a used late model American Fender.
This guitar is Proof that your essentially paying for labor costs to have that “made in USA “ on your headstock. These two factories are what? 60 miles from each other? And Mexican craftsmanship imo has ALWAYS been great when building guitars! I’d take the specs of this guitar all day over the American counter part and save enough money to buy a few things afterwards. Exactly why I bought the Player plus tele! Amazing axe!!
I'm looking for a guiter right now. I play on my sons Squire Classic Vibe Strat and so far love it but I think I need my own axe lol. However, I was testing out the Player Plus Tele and the Sepcial Edition Custom Tele, they are both in the same price range but are very different Instruments tbh. I'm a bit torn, I think the sound of the Special Edition is very interesting because of it's HH setup also I like the modern design with the glued and contoured neck and all the nice stuff but on the other hand, the Player Plus feels more "pro" than the Special Edition, it plays so wonderful and yes, it also does sound great and, most important (lol), it's Mexican made vs. the Special Edition being Indonesia made (or even korea or china, don't know)... Price is about the same so I'm really unsure which one I should get. I don't want another Strat just because we already have one, what I kinda dislike about the Player Plus Teles is the color variations, I would have loved to see some more modern colorvariants there as well, something like the tequila burst they did on the Player Plus Strat...
They are great as to where the MIM has been for a longtime. I just think it's funny all the original MIM types really did want the American Standard, that's what these are. Now that they really are the same, it's clear they really wanted the American, the entire time, amd it was just a narrative with the original MIM line. I'll never believe otherwise.
I can understand the need for a Nashville tele but it ruins one of my favourite things about the tele that being the real estate for the strumming hand. I use fingers a lot and they catch on the middle pickup. Ya I know all strats are the same and yes I do own and love strats as well. They do require me to play differently and be more conscious of my technique which is always a good thing.
Glad they updated the string tree on the Player Plus. Pity they didn’t ditch the Pao Ferro and replace it with Indian Rosewood. Still, I am left-handed so this range is not targeted at me.
1 Tele with Gen 4 noiseless pickups, 1 Strat also with Gen 4 N., 1 Tele with Twisted Tele pickups, 1 Tele with Texas Special custom shop pickups, 1 Strat with 60’s Original Pickups, and lastly one Partscaster Tele with Cavalier Lion King pickups, the Cavaliers are my favorite
This is kinda what I was waiting for but they really missed for me. Pau Ferro ugh! Seriously that Pau Ferro is a deal breaker on any guitar. I want rosewood! The colors are horrible. Another thing that really sucks about strats is the weight. Most of them are close to 9 lbs. 7-1/2 lbs is okay. Nothing over that. The search continues.
Apparently: they sent you the most beautiful Pau Ferro fretboad guitars ever made....or I got a couple shitty ones. Mine are nowhere close to that. Of course; I don't have a RUclips channel.....so.....there's that.
Lots of negative comments about the Pau Ferro but I honestly think it looks fine in contrast to my silver burst finish. And as others have pointed out, lemon oil darkens it up a bit.

@@SiddharthKarunakaran hi! I am very happy with it. It feels just like my old American Strat. I cannot say that I enjoy the Fireball humbucker’s sound. I may change that. But the feel is perfect for me.
Here we go again, ok people, seriously, look at around 2010 era Deluxe USA strats and teles. That's these. Cept it'll be rosewood, and better color options, se price used. It won't be when ya sell either of these later, the American will grow, this will stay frozen, right where it is, in time.
These seem to have taken the space which was occupied by the Performer Series (which hasn't been mentioned in a while and may actually be dead in the water).
Not as good as the mexican roadhouse deluxe. Gave one of these a go the other day, hated the neck, they have over rolled the fingerboard, the pickups aren't very fendery a more modern sound. You are better buying a player series and buying a fender american loaded pickguard and having your choice of american pickups, will cost the same as a player plus!
Yeah those numbers don’t add up lol. You’d be spending more to get all the same features on the plus. Nothing wrong with a modern fender sound. You can always swap out the pickups if you care that much.
I’ve had lot of fenders and these are really good . They just feel quality and play superbly . I got a tele one . The necks are perfect . And for someone who is super picky about necks , normally much prefer a 7.25 thicker neck. These just feel super comfy and easy to play . Rolled edges make a huge difference, and a great c profile not too thin not too thick. I wouldn’t get the weird colours tho. Stick with 3TSB or faded candy .
Sounding killer! 🤘
I got the player plus telecaster in burst & I love everything about it. From the 12" radius to the noiseless pups, it's just a great guitar.

Maybe, but with those colors theyre not going to find many buyers. What were they thinking...
I changed pickups Noiseless on Fender Player guitar stratocaster and play great better.Fender player plus is better than American performer.
Love the SSS Teles
I came to hear Jack.👍🏿
Remember jack sounds great on everything💁
Wanting the noise and humm on a guitar because it's always been there in the old days, is like wanting a new car to come with rust.
Here we go again, ok people, seriously, look at around 2010 era Deluxe USA strats and teles. That's these. Cept it'll be rosewood, and better color options, se price used. It won't be when ya sell either of these later, the American will grow, this will stay frozen, right where it is, in time.
omg brendan fraser
These seem to have taken the space which was occupied by the Performer Series (which hasn't been mentioned in a while and may actually be dead in the water).
These would be excellence if they had roasted maple necks. Btw the dots should go! Make more artistic inlays
Over egg the pudding
Francis Rossi eat your heart out
They’re great but for the price save a little more and get a M.I.A.
I'm not even remotely interested in buying one of these for the price they want.
It is not american noiseless pickups, it is player noiseless pickups, mexican made. The rest is very good about these guitars.
Is there a difference between the two?
@@theodosios2615 I dont think it has such a big difference, but it affects on the prices.
Do you have to get the stupid paint-jobs?
Weak pickups.
So the ultras, I think we’re a bust,so this now.
This is not a slight against Peach. This is a slight against Fender - Get back to the drawing board because these guitars are garbage.
Why?
I’ve had lot of fenders and these are really good . They just feel quality and play superbly . I got a tele one . The necks are perfect . And for someone who is super picky about necks , normally much prefer a 7.25 thicker neck. These just feel super comfy and easy to play . Rolled edges make a huge difference, and a great c profile not too thin not too thick.
I wouldn’t get the weird colours tho. Stick with 3TSB or faded candy .
Great for a beginner or the mean player who won't pay for a real guitar... mass produced 'guitars... Jack wouldn't lite the fire with these.
