SIXMATCH ~ Part 1 (aorheart) in loving memory of Maaike Janssen !

This week I posted two videos from the band M-GENES with the great vocals of Maaike Janssen. Unfortunately, Maaike passed away on December 11, 2016. I started listening to the songs of SIXMATCH again and would like to share some of the songs with you in two parts. This is part 1.
In July 2007 they started working on the album SIXMATCH - A Smile At Gigi. The songs on the album vary from heavy to a beautiful ballad. You can hear three fantastic singers on the album, of which Maaike Janssen is one of them, together with Elise ten Hoor and Petra Schreurs (Voices Exreme).
The album was recorded independently. The songs "The Loner" and "Lovin You Forever" sung by Maaike Janssen are not on that album. The fantastic songwriter, musician and producer behind this project is Hessel Hoornveld. My thanks go out to him! and of course this is in loving memory of Maaike Janssen!
