- these 5 awesome songs are from the band SIAM or is it THE LYDIA TAYLOR BAND ? I can't tell you for sure. The only thing I know that these songs are written by Richard Zwicewicz (guitarist from The Lydia Taylor Band) and that the SIAM singer is Lydia Taylor.
SIAM was a band from Canada in the '80s. The song "All Night Long" from the Demo is also in the movie ...
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH (1988/1990)
Filming Locations: Toronto, Ontario (Canada).
The female singer (band) in the movie is SARA, and that is not Lydia Taylor.
And you can find the song "Body & Soul" also on the compilation album ...
HOMEGROWN Q107 Volume IX (1987) Canada by the band SIAM.
It would be great when someone can tell me more about this band SIAM !
I also read that these songs were actually written for a third THE LYDIA TAYLOR BAND album that was made in 1984 but never released.
But perhaps the intention was to release it under the band name SIAM ? Who can shed some light on this ?

In the summer of 1984, The Lydia Taylor Band started recording their third album with producer Dave Tyson, but after completing the first five tracks the album was shelved due to financial difficulties and the lack of a US record deal. The five completed tracks have not been heard publicly until now.

The only band that stand as Siam that I remember came from SHY singer Tony Mills many years back .Wikipedia always give the complete history of bands and it is not mentioned there and they are pretty accurate in their details and other sites have no mention of this either that I can see so it is a mystery indeed . So I'd say it may be unconfirmed - or very likely they were called this pre Lydia Taylor Band . But who cares this is stunning female fronted AOR eighties awesomess. 💖👌🎹🎸🐾
