I had a similar experience with perioral dermatitis starting at the beginning of the pandemic, having a big workload working and studying at the same time. Stuck at home with my family, my partner was working abroad, there was very little opportunity for us to see each other. Then a close family member gets diagnosed with cancer and has to go through surgery and chemotherapy, my relationship ends shortly after. I was grieving for a long time and started growing uterine fibroids, ended up needing surgery towards the end of 2023. The mental and physical stress of this time really kicked in with some delay. As you said this made me grow up and mature a lot, I now am much more empathetic to other people‘s struggles.

thank you so much for sharing your story. i cried multiple times while watching your video, because to have someone articulate what i have been feeling is THE healing i needed. i appreciate your vulnerability with strangers, and how open you are about your health, your struggles, your grief. it means a lot to people like me, who have no one in their corner

Mila you have no idea how much you being vulnerable and sharing your story online is making an impact 🥹 it's been so refreshing watching your videos and seeing how you not only advocated for your own health but are sharing so many of the things that helped you along your journey. There's so much catching up we as women have to do on learning about our bodies, healing our hormones, etc. because it was never taught - so THANK YOU for making this kind of information accessible so that hopefully other women don't have to experience the same rollercoasters as you did. sending love and so glad to see how much you've been able to heal xx
PS i neeeed that pretty hormonal hoodie in pink!! hope you start selling them soon!

December 2020 was when my PCOS flared up too. No coincidence it was during my most stressful time. I gained 10 kg within one month because of the stress; family and friends estrangement, childhood stress, work stress, financial stress and the pandemic. Thank you for sharing your advice, its helping healing mentally when nothing seems to be working physically ❤️‍🩹
