Obviously his motions are not like Ian's, which isn't what I was referring too. Yes, I understand that the first thing people think of are his movements, which have been known to be a little jarring and epileptic. However, you cannot deny, at least in my opinion, that he was influenced by Ian's sound. Yes, I do agree Johnny has a softer voice. But the overall tone and mood of the music has this slight Joy Division vibe. Yes, Joy Division can be meh at times, yet if you have ever seen some of their live concerts, Joy could always get the crowd jumping and moving... So can The Drums and it just shows a little bit in here. It's nothing too big. But hey, it was just an observation I made and I could be wrong.
