Google made it much easier for me. The old days were a nightmare lol.
Mister Bias well in gen 6 I was really confused on how to catch my legendary bird.
i replayed sapphire, and vowed to catch all the ledgendaries, than me and my friend would catch all the ledgendaries in our respective games, ruby and sapphire, then what we would do is i would use action replay and stuff so we could clone them into our fire red and leaf green games, then we start over all of those games, and have all of the ledgendaries and pokemon in each game.
The regis: the legendaries who require you to be a sighted person who knows the language of the blind. Seems legit.
MrGame N Watch How were you actually suppose to decipher the code legitimately? If it wasnt for a guide book back in '05 I would've never known.
Good old times, when legendaries weren't just thrown at you like crazy and you actually had to do something to get them.

Nah, this was overly convoluted. Needing to have a Wailord and a Relicanth in your team and then decipher Braille? I enjoyed it, but it's a bit much for kids.

@@johnmartinez7440 well, a braille code which code you could find in the back of the instructions manual. It was just matching points with letters. Wait until they find out tests about matching words with arrows on primary school.

The pain I went through just to catch three minor legendaries...
I suppose it was ok since I got Regigigas on Diamond and Pearl but it had Slow Start anyways.
Have you read the Lore of the Regis? The Regis themselves had no say in it. Humans Awoke Regigigas Thousands of years ago in hopes of using it as a weapon. They failed and Regigigas went on a killing spree. In order to seal it, they created three creatures, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel, and hid them away so that nobody would make the same mistake they did. Given this all happened thousands of years ago, they hid The Regi tomb underwater. Now, what Pokemon would be around thousands of years ago, is well hidden, and a water type? Relicanth.
As for wailord, my only guess is that they did not have poke balls back then, and capturing a wailord would be an impossible task. As it is the biggest Pokemon, and can knock people out in boats, just be the sheer force of landing on the water.

Oh my god, the memories of me going out to my library to find a book on braille just to decipher the braille back in the caves. Back then, I didn't own a computer so I couldn't just Google the braille hahaha
/r That Happened. Fun fact that any gamer who bought R/S back in the day knew: They literally had Braille in the booklet that was handed out.
And the cave that you go to that opens up each of the chambers (i don't remember the name of it, I think it was "Sealed Chamber") has a translation room that is just the alphabet and punctuation.

I think they need a bit of a buff in my opinion. Not to much more bulk, just a bit more in their attack stats and possibly speed. Yet, that's my opinion.

My favorite legendary is Mewtwo, hands down. Nothing compares to the experience of my very first pokemon adventure, and when I finally encountered the one of a kind Mewtwo...
But RSE did something right with the Regi's. The cryptic braille messages, the puzzles to find them, all the mysticism and lore behind them... It really made them feel legendary. Like you were discovering a long searched for ancient mystery... And then the music. Oh God, the music. It's why I'm here obviously. I /loved/ the Regi's.

I am still disappointed that they made the Regis so weak. They have an awesome design, interesting backstory, a unique way of getting them and they made them almost worthless.

Ruby is the only game where I didn't find the masterball and didn't catch the title legendary... Those were the darkest days of my Pokemon journey.
You don't actually need the master ball to catch it. In fact, I usually save mine for when I just in case find a shiny :P

You cannot go back into the hideout after finishing the situations with team Aqua and Magma, so you have to do it before that
Hate how every1 bashes on Regirock and Regice. Their typing is their greatest advantage not problem; because every dumbass who thinks they can 1-shot them are in for a bad time when they retaliate hard as all hell.
***** Lol u might also want to consider a Rock Polish+weakness policy set. It works wonders with Metagross and Carbink.
***** Ah Thunder Wave...the ultimate "Fuck You" to any non-ground type speed metagame scrub. My Prankster Mewostic loves using it ^^
regice is seen has the worrst because its a special wall thats a ice type which means 1 good fighting type attack will oneshot they, almost garunteed, and regirock is way to slow and water types can easly the oneshot it, registeel is seen has the best regi becausse it walles almost everything due to its 150 defensive stats and because it is a steel type i can wall everything
should have added my opinion to the statement but then again this is a place were people will rage or try to disprove everything so i guess it would not might if i added it.
Know what all regis are weak to fighting including regigigas so bring infernape and mega lucario and done

This remix does a good job keeping the core of what makes the song so powerful whole expanding on it in a new and creative way
Who else realized the locations of the "eyes" on the regi trio's spell out the word "Hot"? Regirock's eye's shape H, Registeel's eye's shape O, and Regice's eyes shape T. If there was a 4th regi, it should be a heat related one.
Actually, their eyes are Braille. Also notice how there are seven of them each. Somebody at one point figured out that some legendaries have a numerical motif sort of thing. The legendary dogs have different amounts of points on their faces. You could look it up.

White and black 2 you can get 2 Regis in each and if you take all three you can get regigigas
registeel is black 2 and regice is white 2 so u need both versions to get each one
