Is it just me, or is the Battle Frontier in Emerald the hardest challenge you can get in the Pokemon franchise ? No physical/special split, no OP Pokemon are allowed, NPC's use legendaries (I battled a Hiker, he had Registeel, Latios and Raikou) and they counterpick the fuck out of you. It doesn't matter what team you bring, there will be somebody to counter your team perfectly.
The AI is meant to be absolutely ruthless with impossibly powerful Pokemon. Even with perfect competitive Pokemon, you have practically no goddamn chance in frigging hell of winning unless you get extremely haxxxxy and lucky. Even in Gen III, the AI was horribly overpowered, and I think it's only gotten even harder since then.
I should have just been happy with the silver symbols but nooooo I just had to beat the pike's gold round. Now a combination of competitive motivation and OCD for my frontier pass are causing me to rail against the facilities for gold. After managing to beat the Dome and Pyramid, I have tried and lost so many times at the Battle Palace that I was able to buy a Charizard doll... ;_;

We are f****d.

Agree, defeating all of the frontier brains until I get all of the gold badges from them is the most difficult passage in the entire Pokemon series (in my opinion). This song is so menacing.

If Pokemon Adventures ever gets it's own anime (F you Ash, you don't deserve it), I think this theme should be used when Emerald fights the Frontier Brains.

Nope! There’s no battle facility in gen 9. At least with the second DLC, we have a huge amount of music options for online battles. A silver lining, I suppose

One of GlitchxCity's best remixes ever! There's so much variety, it's intense, there are easter eggs to other Pokémon songs in the franchise, and most importantly, it's sounds like a Pokémon OST the most. It's pretty cool =)
