I bought the Moza R5 bundle and a Ras1ution2 box and I am totally amazed at how GT7 has come alive using these products. In the mail now is my clutch, shifter and the two mod steering wheels. I’m not able to map any buttons on the wheel but the few that are mapped do the job. I am planning to buy a pc later so even if this didn’t work it wouldn’t have been a loss. 5.5 nm is plenty of FFB for me. I’ve got to say it’s transformed my racing from the g29 that I used the last three years. Thanks for sharing this with us. 👍🏻👍🏻

They work pretty good with GT7, but when you get your PC it'll be a whole other level of feedback you'll experience. Almost the same as going from g29 to R5 on GT7. The detail you get from PC sims is so much better, so much more granular, dynamic range of feedback right from the big singular hit from a car or sausage kerb at speed, to the little bitty high frequency oscillations from sand and grass and everything in between.
How do you feel steering feedback in GT7 with Moza R5 in PS5? it's feel much better then G29? I use G29 want upgrade to Moza R5 but confused with adapter this will be good then T-GT II belt driven? From logic I think direct driven better then belt driven right?
@@vtg1800 I can’t really comment on the belt drive as I have never owned one but the feeling from g29 to r5 is genuinely awesome in my opinion. However you can’t map the buttons but to me the difference in performance is worth it. If you can afford it I would suggest the fanatic dd version for PS but I didn’t want to spend the difference in cost. The few buttons that are mapped on the r5 are good enough for me. Basically this is the cheaper route but I am planning on going PC later and this will work perfectly for that.
@@A-man-yf6pr Thanks for the information, I think better I buy R5 then DD Pro, because I only play in 4nm torque feedback, I don't need high torque wheel because I worry when PS6 came out, DD Pro not support for PS6 and R5 just change the brand new adapter.
Hi Chris,
I bought the Moza shifter, too, thinking the Collective Minds Drive Hub adapter (similar to the one you have, also from CM) would connect it to my PS5 for GT7.
It is not yet supported, but heck, the shifter is a SOLID piece of kit. Very, very solid. I guess I could still use it on my PC, I guess. I wanted the Drive Hub because it has had great reviews and unleashes the full 11nm for the Logitech G Pro I have.

From memory the shifter i have didnt work in sport mod either. You got a good setup now chriss. Is the microphone new? Multi-coloured fancy looking thing it is.
Yeah I think it’s to make everything fair. But for Daily Race A… they should let us play in there.

The sport mode thing is there is an exploit with the h-shifter. Instead of fully reworking the shifting code for a very small number of users they just disable it in competitive modes and focus on other things.

Is there a space for both a shifter and a handbrake on the GT Omega wheel stand?
There isn’t. My current setup is the handbrake on the wheel stand bracket and the shifter mounted to a separate wooden box thing with weights in it.
Perhaps if you’re only using the stand without the rear seat frame the extra shifter mount might work though.
i have updated ras1ution 2 updated to 1.7 and now its not working to day with moza r5 bundle dont no what to do now
I think I’m using 1.7 firmware too. Maybe check wheel base firmware.

Yea gran turismo dosnt allow a shifter in online races, even gt sport didn't allow it unless you have a sequential shifter

It doesn’t. The MOZA equipment isn’t natively supported by PlayStation.
I'm use the MOZA R5 too , but when I want to play GT7 or F1 23 , I need to pull out the ras1ution 2 and plug in again every time ,did you same with me?
If you need to replug again after each PS restart, it is normal.
Yes every time I power off my PlayStation I also unplug the raslution 2 adapter from the PlayStation.
Plug in fresh each time I power up. 👍🏻

I have. I will be covering it in a future video. But the short version is…
It works. But it pretty much emulates circle button. It’s not a full proportional handbrake in GT7.
But it’s still actually really fun to use with the rally cars etc.
I tried it directly plugged into the R5 base.
Hi 👋🏼 I also connected it directly to the r5 base, it works as on/off, not proportionally, have you tried connecting it via moza hub - usb port 2 on brook rasolution 2? I have a sequential shifter, it doesn't work 🥲 have you tried connecting it?

It would be good. Just need to position your shifter in the right place to match your virtual car! 👀
