Since when did Christian Dior become so blatant displaying their name? Whenever I purchased Dior years ago, their brand name was so discreet and classy!

That's such a cute idea! It also gives you a more "unique" designer handbag. So for those of us that want to have a more distinctive look, this is such a great way to kind of "customise" a bit more!

I really like this idea and actually, Coach has a bag in the market for a while now called the Trial Bag that is exactly this concept. much cheaper as well and with it's vintage brown color is just beautiful
i bought a pre loved vintage gucci vanity case for $300 and then bought some D-ring rivets and modified/attached it on the sides. now i can easily put any strap i want ❤️

Same! I have a handbag that basically looks like a very fancy ice bucket (LOL). I'd probably just carry the vanity case as is but use it like a handbag. But not with a chain or strap or anything. Just me holding the vanity case around. IDK. That's about as much as I can do. I'm too traditional I guess.

@@SL-lz9jr I agree, \the Dior lipstick case set definitely looks more like a clutch and i bought it for that purpose. This vanity case looks like a vanity case when there's a chain on it so i would prefer to carry it with the handle. You can check out my Gucci lipstick case/clutch if you like on my channel

coach makes a bag called the "Trail bag" that i always thought looked like a lunch box or a vanity case too, I know that's not in the same league but definitely an option if people want something a bit more affordable.

Excellent point concerning the Coach Trail bag. It is the most affordable option for vanity case fans. Steve Vevers for Coach is doing an amazing job with Coaches latest collections. Truly something for all handbag lovers @ all price points. I respect that.

I'm shocked , I wouldn't have thought of wearing a vanity case until watching your video, but I really like how your Dior case looks, and can imagine any of the others looking just as lovely (apart from the really big Louis Vuitton case, that I think would look a bit too big) I don't own any of these vanity cases, my bag collection is very small, but I would for sure consider buying a vanity case to use as a bag, especially when saving two thirds the price. love this trend ! I've got a pink mini train case from Coach that I bought last year in fall sale and I have used it a munch! ( it is definately not an everyday " on the go" bag for me, but I use it on the weekends, when we go to the museum, lunch, or for a walk. )

I thought the idea of wearing a vanity case as a bag was kind of silly in the beginning, but the more you talked about it the more I got into it 😂 strange...
Your statement says a lot about you. An example I use with friends is: if an unattractive person is on television , you constantly see him or her the person then becomes beautiful to the population. Stick with your original idea and you will attain your goal; a real designer bag no matter what the brand is.

Great comparison video. I really like the thick woven texture of the Dior Vanity Case. That quality makes a huge difference now in the decision making process of choosing a vanity case/purse.
