Joseph was dressed as an Egyptian. He was so well "dressed" his siblings did not recognize him (Gen.42:8; 45:3). In the U.S. this is a practice called "passing" and is often by choice of the practitioner.

Twenty years ago I bought a CD-ROM to learn Hebrew… and that audio taught the Hebrew alphabet to the tune of Yankee Doodle. And then a French friend of mine said that in France, he learned it to the tune of Sur le pont d’Avignon. I’d never heard it using the actual alphabet song.
I was recently hospitalized for a few weeks and had no access to study materials, but I had your song in my head to remind me of my recently learned aleph bet, thank you!

Why are Shin and Sin two different letters here while all the other letters that change their sound when marked with a dot, such as Pe and Kaph, are just variations of the same letter?
Good question, shin and sin are just considered different letters. The dot that differentiates the two pronunciations of pe, kaf and bet is called a dagesh and it will sometimes appear in sin and shin in the middle of the letter, but the dot above the letter that differentiates between shin and sin is part of the letters themselves, so they're not quite the same thing.

In hebrew we actually have our own unique melody for the alphabet song we dont use the abc melody

Please do the alphabet to the tune of the abc’s alphabet fir children. It is the best way of learning it and remember. I came across this song years ago. And I cannot find it anymore because it was not in RUclips but in a website. Please compose it just like for the children in America. I’ll help you… abc defg, hijklmnop, qrstuv, wx y & z, now I know my abc’s next time won’t you with me. This is the best song to memorize the aleg bet. And upload it in RUclips. Thank you
