- Are you codependent in your relationship? @KristinSnowden shares how Codependency vs Interdependency can be hard to distinguish when gaslighting, trauma, anxious or avoidant attachment challenges, and addictions exist in our relationship.
What if the reason why you are struggling with codependent tendencies has nothing to do with you being codependent at all?
We know it takes an actual miracle from God (on a daily basis) for real change to occur in a marriage where these challenges exist. It doesn't always happen but we believe God can do that miracle because we lived through it and came through the other side together.

People, I do NOT understand why your content doesn't have millions of views. Thank God for this resource you have provided to us FOR FREE.
I agree, they have the most amazing thoughts on topics that truly crush people. I appreciate the kindness and consideration.
I want to like and re-like this post. It has been such a helpful resource. It’s been so good for me to have this enlightened, grace-filled encouragement to send to friends in difficult marriages. THANK YOU.
I still can’t figure out why codependency has become such a popular term in counseling and mental health. In counseling and mental health we often focus on locus of control and say we cannot control other peoples emotions and behavior. Codependency seems like it is trying to shame and blame someone for something that is their partners responsibility which seems antithetical to personal empowerment and accountability. I wish the term codependency would go away.
I really liked how Terri defined it as each person has their own responsibility. I am only responsible for myself and not for my partner only responsible to my partner.
I love your points and descriptions
Thank you so much for this, I try so hard to explain this to people. I ended up in CoDA, even though I truly do not identify as a codependent. My problem is finding solutions to get away… which are homelessness or nothing as of now
So good ❤
On replay.
