  • I bought this Bangalow Palm with several stems. What will I find when repotting?
4 separate plants that now have their own pots and won't be competing for moisture and nutrients.

That was great, wish I'd have seen it sooner as I've bought a few of these over the years and could've saved myself a few $$s

      Thank you.
3 out of 4 have done well.
1 never seemed happy and died a slow death.
      Cheers

      Austria or Australia ?
Most Americans cannot distinguish the difference. LOL
Most definitely here on the NW Coast of Tasmania.
      Cheers 😎👍

Hi Wayne, I'm just curious if both Bangalow palms survived after you separated them?

      Good afternoon.
3 of the 4 survived and the smallest one died. The seedlings were fairly well tangled in their roots and the trauma is always going to happen. Some jump back once they're free from competition, some sulk and some die. Those are the odds, (I'm not a gambler) but I still feel it's worth the risk. The competition would only get worse as they grow.
      Cheers

I got a Bangalow from Bunnings recently and forgot to water it by a few days. It’s chucked a hissy fit and went all crunchy on most of the fronds. Pretty sure it’s going to die 😢

Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure how drought tolerant they are.
      Wishing you good luck.
