  • So this exists, I guess. I am quite certain that this was a demonstration, as Fort Worth did not purchase a system until 1954.

Yes, it was. I actually sent the portal link to you directly. I screen recorded it and put it on RUclips to make it more accessible to the community at large.

And a little bit away from this siren, in “nocona” … is a 1003. Still standing, but this video.. is truly something you’d never see. But thunderbolts will live on for a while hopefully

Downtown Whichita, Kansas and Nebraska City, Nebraska both have Thunderbolt 6M 1000 Sirens that sounds exactly like this 1952 Thunderbolt Siren.

The Tbolt on Fort Worth's city hall is still up to this day, However it is inactive due to it supposedly malfunctioning and sounding for 2 hours, the power was cut to the building.
Edit, i seemed to have watched the whole footage of this specific bolt and i can deduce from this that there was another bolt before the one I was talking about.

This was a demonstration unit, it was not kept. Ft. Worth would not buy a siren system until 1954 and their bar grille was a much later build than this one was.
