My 93 year-old wonderful Mum has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's & after attempts to cater for this in her own home, she is now in Aged Care, thinks she's in a hospital & declaring there is nothing wrong & that she should be able to get back home.
    Family haven't announced her diagnosis
    Denial & demands etc.
    It's horrible

My grandmother is in the nursing home and will ask about wanton to go home for the day, but I’m worried she’ll resist wanting to go back to the nursing home and her physical decline limits her mobility but she keeps on insisting she can walk fine but she’s had 6 falls in the last 8 months. What do I tell her?
