Hi K&C great video, thank you for sharing. We are off to a supplier of the Nissan NV200 1.6 petrol auto on Tuesday of next week to get a "hands on" experience and discuss terms. Although there is about a 12 to 14 week lead time, we should be set for next years season. We have never had a foreign holiday in our 42 years of marriage, as there is just so much to see in this beautiful country. Having said that, our horizons will be widened and travel becomes our retirement escape. Thanks again.....

He didn’t know the pub was haunted came down from the toilet said he’d seen a small child upstairs and the staff looked at him shocked and said it was their ghost he went back up and there was no one there and he is a skeptic, have throughly enjoyed this series as IOW across the water from Christchurch where I live.

We have volunteer group here in NSW called the Rural Fire Service, each state has there own groups, different names, they are the guys and gals that go out and fight the fires during summer, during winter and spring they back burn areas to try to minimise leaf litter and under growth to hopefully keep areas safe from major fires. Many thanks for another great video 👍. Even though much was achieved during those years, I always think of the Victorian era as dark and morbid...... poverty, workhouses, lunatic asylums, disease, death, etc., and on the other hand the wealthy building their great houses full of opulence, all reaped from the poor working conditions of their employees in their factories and mills.

What a lovely place the Isle of White is, definitely on my bucket list but alas Scotland beckons us in a few short weeks.
Brilliant advice about getting a camper as life is most definitely too short, sometimes it’s better not to wait. There’s a quote that I know, not mine but here it is “we have two lives, the second one begins when we realise we only have one”. I think that sums it up nicely.

It does not matter much what you use to edit as they all offer pretty much the same. I use Davinci Resolve normally. I don’t recommend that for beginners though. My other favourite is an app called Lumafusion on my ipad or iphone. Its nice and quick but lacks a bit in the sound department. The critical bit is how you shoot, record the sound and how you cut it to keep the story flowing 👍

Hi both, funny you should say about the Doll's House. I used to make miniature furniture for collectors of them. Also the history was one of my talk subjects for clubs and the like. You are quite right Ken. The children were not allowed to play with them willy Billy even on high days and holidays. It's why there are not great numbers of them now even in museums. They were, right up to the time of Victoria used as a teaching aid to prepare the daughters of the landed gentry for the management of the ancestral pile that it was hoped one day they would be in charge of. I have seen one in the Bethnal Green museum of Childhood which even features a "lying in" bedchamber to demonstrate the whole etiquette of receiving visitors after the birth of your son and their. Some sources recount that they were made by the Estate Carpenters but if you've ever seen such examples as the Uppark baby house in West Sussex I think it more likely that they were made by someone with the skills of a Cabinet maker. It's died down a it now but I taught mostly retired people to make items for their own collections all over the West Country and in SW Wales. That's when I had the Campervan, which made it much nicer than staying in B&Bs. I saw the Donkeys at Carisbrooke Castle nearly sixty years ago now. I'm not surprised they only work short shifts. They weren't very big Donkeys back then either and they are constantly trudging uphill in that treadmill. Still I recall they looked happy and well and were pleased with themselves after showing their adoring public their moves, just like the one you filmed. The last time I went across to the Island I had the Duetto camper and the Granddaughters stayed in a tent. It's a lovely place to tour round whether it's rain or shine. I'm sad this little series is coming to a close as being a Sussex and Hampshire boy the Island has a special place in my heart. I still have a childhood friend on the island at the priory just past the turning for Osborne House. Keep well both and I hope you soon get little Red's successor sorted. Cheers for now.

The guy on the mobile phone in the vehicle next to you reminds me of the number of times that I have found what seems to be a quiet spot to enjoy lunch or chill out for a bit and then someone pulls up along side and leaves their engine running, often seemingly unnecessarily and ruins the experience. Many people are eager to point out that it's so they can run their heating or A/C, but if that's the case, why have the windows wound down? Moan over!

I gotta admit, driving on the left side of the road is concerning. I had a priest friend who vacationed there and told me that while he was driving he encountered an unexpected situation and reacted as normal in our country and momentarily turned his vehicle directly into oncoming traffic. Ok, I'm rambling here but beyond my conversational thoughts, as I understand it comments help you with the youtube algorithm so I hope this helps. Truly, Thank You and All the Best to you!

    LIFE & MOMENTARY COURAGE!!
    Life's a book written through
Where the pages are the years.
There's good, evil, false and true
    With laughter, sweat, and tears.
Our days are songs composed by God
As we set them to music with pleasure.
His cup of life is for us to drink
    Though, He, decides the measure.
Hurried and worried, dawn till dusk
There's no time for a curtain call.
We burn our candles from both ends
And we're lucky to be alive at all.
Cards are shuffled and hands are dealt
For all to place their bets.
    Youthful blunders, adulthood struggles
And old age with its regrets.
It matters not, how long we live
More, how well we play our part.
For the road to Heaven is always near
As long as there's truth in our heart.
    Momentary courage helps preserve mankind
When our angel within is allowed to rise.
Men, women, children, kings and presidents
Are blessed by deeds not falsehoods and lies.
