Very beautiful house. I would think that with all the bedrooms she had quiet a choice. Thanks for taking me with you to see this. Have a wonderful day.

Hi guys. Loving the production on this video. Documentary style and particularly like the switching between you both. Added to the enjoyment of watching and flipping heck Ken..that was some sausage butty!! 😮🐕🚙
Another relaxing interesting video guys with a cup of tea and the stove going ,bit frosty here this weekend. Hope both of you are recovered from the sickness you had . Thank you for sharing
You are finding some great things to see. Loved the castle. Very interesting narration and excellent delivery. You must have prepped for ages. Clapping the donkey 😂. Lovely video. Thank you 🙏
Nothing better than to relax with coffee & biscuit/s... in the warmth inside and have a jaunt around Isle of Wight, fantastic. Coffee brewing, biscuits ready and away we go. Thanks again for the joy this brings. Kia Ora from New Zealand. 💜💜 PS: Love the 'red blanket' filter.
Hi K&C great video, thank you for sharing. We are off to a supplier of the Nissan NV200 1.6 petrol auto on Tuesday of next week to get a "hands on" experience and discuss terms. Although there is about a 12 to 14 week lead time, we should be set for next years season. We have never had a foreign holiday in our 42 years of marriage, as there is just so much to see in this beautiful country. Having said that, our horizons will be widened and travel becomes our retirement escape. Thanks again.....
You won't regret buying a campervan, it opens up so many opportunities, enjoy the choosing, anticipation, buying what you need to make your camper a home on wheels (caution, not too much) and collection day. Then you're off, have fun.😄
I've always been reluctant to take a vehicle to the Isle of Wight because of the cost, but watching your trip, my thoughts have changed. Thanks guys 👍 PS Ken, fancy making Carol sit in the shade to have to have her tea and scone 😂
Brilliant video the Isle of Wight is full of history, hope your enjoying all the places you’ve seen I went to steep hill cove had a sandwich there not the cheapest but really enjoyed it. My wife’s sister has a place in ventnor with panoramic views of the sea I love the cruise ships lit up as night as they go past 👍 enjoy the botanic gardens great when it’s in full bloom if you go down zig zag road in ventnor you can park at the bottom and there’s a lovely pub/ restaurant called the spy glass in food is lovely enjoy the rest of your stay 👍
The green at Gurnard is one of the best places on the island to see a nice sunset ..... even better viewed from the terrace of The Woodvale with a nice pint of local ale
Funny you should say its haunted was watching you guys thinking about the time my brother said he saw a ghost in one of the pubs. He didn’t know the pub was haunted came down from the toilet said he’d seen a small child upstairs and the staff looked at him shocked and said it was their ghost he went back up and there was no one there and he is a skeptic, have throughly enjoyed this series as IOW across the water from Christchurch where I live.
Lots of sensible people have experienced ghosts. Never seem to see serious attempts to investigate places though on youtube. They always have to hype it up. 👍
It’s good to see the donkey union has got there care contract down to a fine art You have brought a distant memory as a child in Osbourne House grounds although as a child was not interested in the history lol Great video
HI Carol and Ken, loved the history of Charles I , and love a bacon and egg roll with BBQ sauce ( I think you guys call it Brown Sauce) for breakfast, For such a small island it certainly packs in the scenery and places to see, cheers, Garry from DownUnder
@@LifeistooshortCK apparently our weather system here on the east coast has changed to "el nino" (which means it is going to be very hot and dry) from "la ninas" (which is a lot of rain) . So we could be in for more bush fires this summer
Well I hope you don’t suffer more fires. Do the government allow people in dangerous areas to clear the land around their homes. I get the feeling that keeping things wild are causing things to get out of control.
@@LifeistooshortCK Sorry for late reply. We have volunteer group here in NSW called the Rural Fire Service, each state has there own groups, different names, they are the guys and gals that go out and fight the fires during summer, during winter and spring they back burn areas to try to minimise leaf litter and under growth to hopefully keep areas safe from major fires. These volunteers are local people, mums , dads, the mechanic, the doctor, the lawyer , etc who all band together to help each other and their community.
Another good video. I love how Carol has embraced the RUclips life compared to the early days of your channel. You make an excellent team, I burst out in laughter the other day when she said “Ken you do have some weird thought’s”
Fab! IOW really does have some interesting history. Glad you’ve found it so easy to wild camp too. Only 4 more sleeps till I get to see my lizard lol. Take care x
You were lucky to be able to take still photography a lot of historic properties have banned cameras for security reasons . I agree with you that the price of food in cafes and service stations is high Aldi and Lidl may be cheaper in the long run, on a long journey I carry a 12v coffee percolator (makes five cups) and cook food before travelling and put in a 12v heated lunch box. One thing I have found having a Costco near is great example a Starbucks chilled coffee in a supermarket is £2.25 a cup I get a pack of ten for £9.99.
Many thanks for another great video 👍. Even though much was achieved during those years, I always think of the Victorian era as dark and morbid...... poverty, workhouses, lunatic asylums, disease, death, etc., and on the other hand the wealthy building their great houses full of opulence, all reaped from the poor working conditions of their employees in their factories and mills.
What a lovely place the Isle of White is, definitely on my bucket list but alas Scotland beckons us in a few short weeks. Brilliant advice about getting a camper as life is most definitely too short, sometimes it’s better not to wait. There’s a quote that I know, not mine but here it is “we have two lives, the second one begins when we realise we only have one”. I think that sums it up nicely.

Hi Ken and Carol. I recently discovered your fantastic channel and have been binge watching for 2 weeks now. I particularly love your editing and Carol's superb photos. I was wondering what programme you use to edit. Take care and all the best....Michael.

LIFE & MOMENTARY COURAGE!!
Life's a book written through
Where the pages are the years.
There's good, evil, false and true
With laughter, sweat, and tears.
Our days are songs composed by God
As we set them to music with pleasure.
His cup of life is for us to drink
Though, He, decides the measure.
Hurried and worried, dawn till dusk
There's no time for a curtain call.
We burn our candles from both ends
And we're lucky to be alive at all.
Cards are shuffled and hands are dealt
For all to place their bets.
Youthful blunders, adulthood struggles
And old age with its regrets.
It matters not, how long we live
More, how well we play our part.
For the road to Heaven is always near
As long as there's truth in our heart.
Momentary courage helps preserve mankind
When our angel within is allowed to rise.
Men, women, children, kings and presidents
Are blessed by deeds not falsehoods and lies.
