This family of 6 lives and travels full time in their amazing DIY raised roof skoolie conversion. This build includes a ton of clever build and storage hacks that allows this family to live comfortably on the road. My favorite build hack was the lofted bed up front. Wait wait wait…living in it WHILE building it??? Insane! Lol! I love how dad just laughs outloud when the kids talk about the horrors of washing dishes etc. without proper water etc. Such a lovely, lovely family.❤️❤️❤️
Loved the kids room.Most bus life families give their children very little room and parents get a huge room. It's great that you give priority to your kids 😍

I liked the lay out. Especially to give the youngsters more space at the end instead of using it at a Master bedroom. Sleeping on opposite sides of the bus gives them more privacy. Very clever.

I can’t pick a favorite part of your amazing home, but I can say that these parents have gone above and beyond making every possible space for the whole family. The kids space is so amazing and I love that they left the windows for not only natural lighting, but also an emergency exit for the kids just in case. I also really love how they made, not just a bed, but a beautiful bedroom for themselves with their books and some decor. With a door on the bunk room Mom and Dad can have some privacy, which is very important. As a retired teacher, Mom and Grandma, I thought I had a large library in my home, but the amount of books from end to end in this home is so impressive and it just made me smile. I can’t say enough about how amazing this home, this family and so much creative storage. I enjoyed every minute of this video and got some good ideas for my own small space. Thank for sharing.

I love the lifestyle of this family. I admire their parenting style. They emphasize the importance of reading, creativity and a very organic education. It is amazing. Their children are so intelligent and have a great sense of humor. They have built a beautiful home, and they make it work. I have 3 kids. My husband and I would absolutely love to live this life. The world has gotten away from family togetherness. It is great that dad is in IT, but his kids are plugged into real life, instead of being online. They get to be kids in a world where that is no longer common.
The decor isn't my personal taste but the whole aesthetic is beautifully done. Excellent build.
Absolutely beautiful! This is probably the most beautiful bus I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I love the corrugated metal accents and the wood support on the loft and cabinets. Beautiful! I think it's wonderful that family is obviously a huge focus, and the kids are growing up surrounded by love, nature and adventure! ❤❤❤

This is my absolute favorite bus of all time. Lovely family, homeschooling, creativity, cozy unique handmade, loft bed & kid's room, variety of colors, great layout, woodstove, green door, kids, pets, and *BOOKS*!!! I recognize and love most of the titles. :)

The bus build does a beautiful job of delineating areas, so you are where you are and don’t feel like you are in a long tube.
Before this I always commented," this is my favourite,so far". But now I am gonna say," this is one of my favourites".

What a beautiful, GORGEOUS, sweet, lucky family. They are so so so lucky. I grew up traveling on vacations state to state in a conversion van with my family, camping, and that was a blast. I would imagine this is just an amazing way to live!!!!

Very nice. I've been looking at Skoolie videos for nearly 10 years and this is the first I've seen with the loft over the driver's seat. I'll definitely keep that in mind when I build mine.

Beautiful Bus Build, love all the rustic touches. Love the wire-mesh door fronts and corrugated metal offsetting all the warm wood tones. The Farm theme could easily be overdone, but it doesn't feel that way at all.
I expect, in a year or two, the kids are going to really want more space and privacy than they have, but that's no reason not to strike out on this adventure, NOW, while you can.
That is a beautiful home with a beautiful family living a beautiful life

I noticed that one of the books in the loft is "Follow my Leader". Boy, does that bring back memories! I loved that book when I was little.

This bus sorry home is adorable. This family have put a lot of thought into the layout and also the decor. This is truly unique. It's beautiful it really is and I gotta say that I have fallen in love with it ❤️😍. Mum and Dad have given their children their own private space while they have the loft most bus builds I have seen the parents have taken their own private master retreat while this mum and dad they have given that part of the build to their kids! Hats off 🎩👏to this mum and dad putting their kids needs above their own 👏👏.
This whole bus home is fantastic and has been well thought out also unique to this family as every person who lives on the bus has had their thoughts, details and design input put into their home.

Your decor is perhaps the best I've ever seen. Your process worked so well, not only for you, but to provide balance from these bougie/ohhhhhh-too tidy rigs that make no sense to me. Looking lived-in rocks and rocks hard.
Stealing:

- Love what you did w/ teh stove; saw one from UK that I like better but your setup is a good lesson
- the corrugated works SOOOO very well, balanced with the wood. WOW. Nicely done, well played.

Amazing this family has learned to survive in every way..and their home is functional...I like the rustic ceiling's and the light chandelier..they make living look so easy and fun..👍🌿

Really enjoyed this video. In the restricted space available there are some great ideas. The happiness and contentment radiating from everyone is palpable. I love the emphasis on living versus possessions. These children will have great memories from their childhood.n

Very special. Dad built an rv out of a cab truck and we drove everywhere. From Oregon to Central America several times and many a camp ground. Nothing like the open road, but it is a lil hairy if you're not savvy.

I don't understand people who watch these videos and go on about privacy ......Blah, blah, it's a bus people! the Parents aren't idiots who know kids are going to get older, Man i would love to do this or have done this when i was a child. This is BY FAR the best build I've seen to date. It is very thoughtfully considered--and practical. I definitely love the loft idea. You're the first I've seen. Also....I'm a "farmhouse" / "rustic" kind of girl, so what you've done is warm and inviting. It's "home." And home is what counts. Well done.

Just an idea, but it would be nice to see the kids have a curtain on their bunk to give them more privacy. Especially since their are girls and a boy in there.

This is Aunt Joanne and I love the bus - and your family! I am trying to talk Rob into doing a skoolie for us, but we have to wait until we have room to store it as we need to be by Rob's parents for now. BTW, can you drive it? We were thinking of a smaller skoolie that we can use to tour the country - and it's just the 2 of us. If you ever want to call us, we still have the old number.
