I have a 2014 Buick LaCrosse 3.6L and my left front low beam light went out a few days ago and it's been a challenge trying to get the bulb out. I didn't realize that i might have the wrong bulbs after viewing your video because my LaCrosse have that same box thing with the light bulb in it and i couldn't figure out how to remove it until i just saw this video. Hopefully, i can get it done tomorrow. Thanks for the informative video!
you're the only F'ing video that explains it actually going back into the assembly.. Liked and followed. Forget these other shops, auto techs, and channels on youtube that just want you to end up taking your car into the shop and paying them. F them fr fr
Don't even need to jack the car up or take the tire off... Turn the wheel full lock to the other side, take 5 of the screws out, pull cover back, and replace bulb. This is a 15 min job man
@Richierock1 fair enough, either way I appreciate your content because I've heard many stories on dealerships quoting $500+ for this job and stating the bumper needed to be removed which is not the case. Jacking the car up and taking the wheel off does make it easier however it's more labor intensive. New cars suck overall, this shouldn't be this hard. *Also I'll correct myself, it was 7 t20 screws not 5
The cover would not pull back far enough for me to get in there. I had to take the tire off so i could completely remove the front wheeleell to access it.
Great video! My issue is the light won’t stay seated after I lock it into place. I push it in as far as it will but it will not stay in position. Any suggestions? Thank you for the assistance.
Make sure the fuse for that headlamp is not melted and double check the voltage to the connector and also the ground is good check voltage with it running , also is possible hook just the bulb to a battery supply to see it still does it out of vehicle
I hope you get this. Good video but what do you do when the line of LED on top goes out? Is that replaceable? Or do I have to get a new assembly? I have looked and the cheapest I can find is over $900🤯 There is no way I can do that..my goodness!

Thank you ... good overview helped greatly. I did not remove the tire but it makes it difficult, although got light bulb in. Thanks.

It’s a lot easier to show location of the bulb and access to it

Sounds like you don’t have it quite set before you lock t in, so it “locks” but not secures it. You’ve prob already figured that out by now
I spoke too soon. I’ve been trying to get mine to lock for over an hour now. Cannot get it to work
Very good video. My question is, Is this the same procedure for 2014 Lacrosse?
Different body if I have video then I did one if not I don’t remember just look for access behind the whole assembly
These engineer should be ashamed of themselves. All that for a bulb. Nonsense.
Just remove the torx and bend the wheel well back and you can get a hand up there and pop it out easy
Thanks for showing the notch to line it up.
Welcome
Just replaced my hid because it was flickering and still doing the same with the new one. Any ideas?

And don’t forget to have your battery checked also
Why not try LED?
Could be a bad ground or faulty plug.

Yeah unfortunately the row of LED s or part of the head lamp , same thing with the tail light assembly
@@richierock1300 thank you for replying. Do you know of a place or company online that I could find one?
@@beckyrichard1605 I’ll check for you year and model
Make sure not to touch the bulb with your hands or you could ruin it.
Nice video. Wouldn’t it be easier to remove the headlight assembly?
Nope! Look up headlight assembly removal.. nope...
Youll be SHOCKED at how much work it takes to take out the assembly. Horrible.
Unfortunately yeah you have to remove the bumper😅😢
i think you explained it better the first time.
Why not try LED?
They supplied the bulbs

Don’t need to remove the wheel at all
Good video but didn't need to remove the wheel!
I don't see how you can see it without removing the wheel I can grab the light assembly but I can't feel the things on either side to pop it out
Hate changing these, Horrible enginering, and bulb dont say what part should be up.......and you have to do it by feel, cant see when doing this...
These engineers should be fired.

Surprising part is the cost of the bulb. $112.
