@@bantuboi3131I’m rooting for G1 Megatron because Death Battle may not be using power scaling for the whole research. Just ways can these two can do in a battlefield. Reasons why I say G1 Megatron would win because he’s got IQ, Powers/Abilities, Durability,sound manipulation and Hax to kill Frieza’s brain just by using his two knuckles to charge up Sonic sound. Frieza will have a big problem against Megatron. Frieza’s weakness is sensitive hearing loud noises like Goku’s scream so that could be a problem in the fight. G1 Cartoon Megatron used his bare knuckles to shoot a sound barrier at Optimus Prime in a hand to hand combat. So this fight will be Megatron’s victory if that is something that Composite G1 Megatron then it’s all including Anti matter and Sound Manipulation so it would end Frieza. Frieza’s Ki won’t sense him. G1 Megatron will win the fight.

Oh tell me about it that was a load of bull right there. He even absorbed a cosmic monster that ate whole timelines and become being so powerful you could call him a god and the scariest part cybertronians would eventually evolve into said beings to fight said cosmic monsters.
Hope I see people from the death battle sneak peek after Cole Magrath vs Alex Mercer come here, instead of complaining thinking "Frieza vs Megatron" is a complete stomp and stop complaining.
Megatron can never truly be Optimus' equal because he's not a Prime, he doesn't have a .1% spark and he doesn't have the matrix to give him the knowledge and abilities of the original 13!
But the fact that he doesn’t have those things and still stacks up to Prime consistently should only further show that Megatron is truly a powerhouse in his own right

OK I’m watching this video because I’m trying to figure out who would win in a fight between Megatron and Frieza and I initially thought Frieza won the fight no problem but now the Deceptigod and Shockwave feats have me thinking otherwise

I agree with all of this plus Scourge vs Sentinel Prime.
These two are the only ones that gave Optimus a run for his money in the movies.
Sentinel had Optimus begging with one arm and Scourge seemed invincible at first after he snatched Bee’s chain and may not had been defeated if Noah didn’t stab him in the back of the knee.

Megatron should give the weaker versions of Darkseid a run for their money. If it's the True Form one, I would give him Dark Matter power along new weapons that can kill a New God like Darkseid himself.
The face powers and portrayal of Megatron was actually from Darkseid--just as Optimus is modelled around Superman with all the compassion, coloration and charisma/persona. It will be a good battle to watch them go at each other. Meg vs Darky.
PS: Superman and Darkseid build, story and rivalry is a model for most comics story arch built around their major characters

Question: Would you say it's possible that Megatron is powerful enough to destroy a planet or survive being in the epicenter of a planet exploding?
I ask because the next Death Battle episode is between Megatron and Freiza. Freiza has been shown to both destroy planets and survive the explosion of one with half his torso removed. If Megatron is hardly capable of either, then he might as well meet his match, no matter how many years of combat experience he has over Freiza. I'm rooting for Megatron, but I actually think Freiza might have that match.
Given megatron was able to hold against universal scale entities it’s quite possible.

My money will be on shockwave. A better firepower, stronger, smarter and more durable than both. Howbeit, Starscream is the fastest, agile and most dubious / cunning of them all and he knows how to survive. Soundwave is mostly built for knowledge and hacks...
PS: Soundwave is also and inventor and have a bit of the other two in him.
With prep time I'd go for Soundwave... He could learn a great deal about the other two.

So, basically, it's Megatron! no Optimus! no Megatron! one shot blast ahh Megatron in a death cry but hear comes Optimus to kick his ass defeat him in some awesome way but he comes back better that before depending on the comic book universe movie cartoon or graphic novel or and actual novel. But no matter where or when Megatron is, he's still number two to Optimus cool didn't know all that even though I've seen a decent number of cartoons, the American and Japanese versions and all the movies including the original cartoon movie when it first came on tv. But the comics I didn't get into those, probably should.
