My dad bought a new Delray in 58, it was a sedan delivery w/a Power Glide. It was solid green as the front in this example. Never seen another like it.
I see your Delray has the Borg Warner overdrive. How do you like it? I have a Delray two door with the same drive train. Driving with the overdrive is a pleasure.
@@aftershock2222 it’s a beautiful car it’s sitting now cause of winter. Haven’t had her out on highways to far but really love how it drives around town
@@BadlandsRebuilds at age of 77 I am over 4-door inferior status. Heck I don't want to think about crawling in a 2 door. I call em crew cabs like we all want in our pickup
Those 235 were solid engines
Yes have another in 1956 210 sat 25 years fired right up
My first car ( '56 210 station wagon) had a 235 that I totally rebuilt in 1991 and drove as my everyday car until 1994. Solid engine.
This is incredible!
It’s 2024 and the old car survived all this time…
And it runs!
Congratulations!

You could probably sell that for $3500 - $4500... (my guess)
@@Testing-123 yes still needs some work but overall pretty good
Good parts car if you ever get a desirable model Chevy like a bel air or Impala.
Yes wish it was a 2 door still nice old ride
Bel-Airs and Impala are all over the place. You can't find the lower models.
