    This is the build I never knew I needed. I was just messing around and searching questlog because I already had staff/bow leveled and wanted to see what else I could do with one of them. I've been working off that and super happy to see a video of it as well explaining it more. Awesome job and thank you!

      And thank you. If you do choose SnS as your 3rd weapon, SnS/Bow also has similar strengths and a similar playstyle to SnS/Staff. And of course, you already know first hand how good Staff/Bow is.

    I'm so mad at RUclips Algorithm for not showing me your channel the entire 2 weeks i was looking for this specific video. Been searching for any build that i could try to have a better time in the open world dungeons and bosses and this never came up. Really had to work for it! I work out of town for 2 weeks at a time and found the the day i was coming up. Needless to say i cant wait to get home in 2 weeks to try it out!

      @@darkness2in thank you! Will most definitely be keeping eye out for new videos! And I definitely will be sure to ask all the questions haha hopefully I get lucky with the new dungeons. I have terrible luck with RNG. I was trying xbow daggers and was struggling bad following builds. Dropped money on the Phantom wolf pieces hoping it would help but still don't feel good. But I'm hopeful that is will be the build that feels right for my play style lol

      @@thereno1173 Sorry to hear that. Hopefully SnS/Staff fits what you're looking for. I'm normally a tank/melee main, but I've greatly enjoyed the hybrid mix of Range/Magic + Tank/Melee. It's one of my top 3 favorite tank builds of all mmos I've played.
      I plan to make a short guide for open world dungeons, and a tanking guide/tips for dungeon runs too.

      @@darkness2in I seen that in another comment! I'm excited to watch that video! Yea only only really played tanky characters before except wow I had fun with hunter. Never could figure out rogue though and I guess still can't with xbow and daggers lol so I'm very hopeful for this class haha

    Im just starting noticing how amazing cleaving roar is, it basically can turn strong single target dps ability into strong aoe ability xD for example fireball barrage, im scared to see it in action with all the abilities combined , 10x burn stack + chain lightning + barrage + cleaving roar + thunder blessing

    • @darkness2in
      @darkness2in  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah it's really crazy. Even with just Fireballs, Smokescreen, and Fireball Barrage--Cleaving Roar allows you to kill a large pack of adds pretty quickly by yourself. And if you're in a party running full AOE, everything melts.
      Another good thing about Cleaving Roar, it doesn't have the aggro Provoking Roar does. So you can take it running as DPS and not cause the tank trouble.

    @darkness2in hello, were you considering taking manaball eruption passive? What do you think about taunt+manaball passive combined?

    • @darkness2in
      @darkness2in  2 месяца назад +1

      Oh yes, I forgot to talk about this in the video. Early on, I don't think Manaball Eruption is worth using. But, once you get some mana regen traits and Manaball Eruption to Epic, it becomes really good for extra damage.
      I often replace Resilient Mind with Manaball Eruption. Especially when running as a DPS and/or main-handing Staff. And of course, I'll pop an MP regen potion and food.

    Thanks for the updated guide. But I really don't understand why you invested so heavily in Health Regen? Is there some secret you didn't mention? You used all those trait slots on all that gear, and only are getting 450 additional health over 10 seconds? Default without any health regen traits at all is 1200 health every 10 seconds. You invested all those traits and are only at about 1650 health every 10 seconds?

    • @darkness2in
      @darkness2in  2 месяца назад +4

      There's 2 reasons for this.
      1: Health regen certainly doesn't seem that great on paper. And it isn't for most classes. However, when you consider how Disciple uses MP as an extra HP bar, then it makes a much bigger difference.
      You're not taking any damage as long as Redemptive Barrier is up and your MP isn't 0. So that health regen just keeps adding up. And doubly so when you keep "healing yourself" with Inner Peace/Thunder Blessing.
      2: Disciple already has the highest HP pool in the game while Redemptive Barrier is active. Currently mine lasts for 10 seconds with a 37 second cooldown. Or 25 seconds, if used during High Focus. My current max HP is 11,575 and 12,190 max MP. So that's a lot of time during a fight where I have 23,765 "HP". More than half of which I can quickly "heal" with Inner Peace.
      Just keep in mind, I mostly PVE. So if you're planning to PvP, Max HP would be better.

    How viable it is for PVP ?

    • @darkness2in
      @darkness2in  8 часов назад

      In the right hands, about the same as Templar. They both have similar approaches to PVP. Templar stays in the fight longer by self heals. Disciple stays in the fight longer by absorbing damage through MP.
      However, Templar can heal allies, but Disciple has much higher damage.
