Thanks for posting this. I have seized rear calipers on my XJS. The rotors look rough, from being parked a long time. I guess I don't have an excuse now.
This was the first time I had done it so I was learning as I went I think it took me a few hours. However, I’d say I could drop the axle in an hour now with having done it previously. I was fortunate enough to have the unit in great condition so it made it easier to drop. If you’re attempting it, take your time and get to really know your Jag!
Rotors were fine, one caliper had seized so I wanted to replace them all. I’ll be dropping it once my shop is done being built and service it again in the future
Thanks for the video! That was very to the point and everything included was very useful! I’ll be using this in a few months when I drop mine!
Thank you, glad it could help!
Great video, thank you, very informative. The Kent alloys look so cool on a XJ6
Thank you, agreed. While I love the look of the wire wheels these also look great on these cars

Glad it helped! Thank you sir!
Thanks for this video. I have a Rover P6 which has a similar rear brake set up. You've given me the confidence to try to work on my rear brakes.
I’m glad to have helped you see the confidence you already had!
Very helpful video.I'm rebuilding my IRS but can't work out where the spring on
the upper shock bolt attaches to.Can you help?
I’m not sure, if you’re on Facebook join the XJ6 group and ask there! There’s guys in there that have had these for decades that could help!
Thank you 👍👍
It was a pleasure

Most welcome!
Would you travel to Florida and replace my calipers?
Hahaha on my way
Didn't have rotors turned?
