Great video as always try to fit in memento with emperors guard and 1 belstone piece and you are regen your armor so crazy it’s worth bc you get more out of the stat armor regen than skill haste imo but feel free I like your builds and guides anyway

I suggest you replace the Belson kneepads with an Emperor's Guard. that way you still get your 1% Armor Regen, while getting an extra 20% Skill Duration, which makes a big difference, considering you always have your both skills active. and you can set the second attribute to 10% Skill Damage. that's more efficient imo. One thing i feel like people forget sometimes with technician is that armor kits repair skills as well. Whenever my drone has low health but has plenty of duration left, i will call it back to me (double tap activation key) and use a kit to heal it
Does using the armor kit after recalling the drone automatically heal it or do you have to select it in some way?
I love the risk of going full yellow, if you play smart no need for armor. One my oldest build ❤
yeah but I have 6 yellows still? the specilization is giving me 1 yellow and the pistol another. 6 is the cap so having more than 6 is a waste.
Correct! Still using my perfect Glas canon chest with weapon damage, skill haste and skill damage. I totally forgot about the TDI Kard pistol...
I’ve been running a variation of this build that gives 2% armor regen. Belstone mask, 3 piece murakami which includes emperors guard, kinetic momentum on chest, Hana U 2 piece with force multiplier as backpack. I also like running harmony rifle, kard pistol with sweet dreams in case a purple or red runs up on you for the one shot melee
I have something like this, and I use 5 directives. I just release my drone 200 meters or 18 seconds before I get to my destination, whether it's a control point or a hostage situation. Use 5 directives.
Great tip
You can easily run Cool Skills and turn off Pistolero if you still want 4 directives; with deployable skills like drone and turret there's only like a 10-15 second window between them and they stay active/tanky especially at tier 6, that way you can run Capacitor or Test Subject, etc. Cool Skills only sucks for consumable skills like chems, stickies. GGs brotha

I have a similar build as well. Two piece empress,Waveform,two piece Hana-U. Spark on the chest piece and perfectly combined arms along with capacitor and test subject. I switch between test subject and Mechanical Animal.
I run a similar build but with the artillery turret. I use 3 piece empress with strategic allignment with a wyvern wear and wave form. It’s also my go to legendary build

1.1M armor @ 2% min reg, 5% max. Artificer and Oxi/turret
Oxi 450-500k, Turret at 240k ish
Using the capacitor and sometimes the kard. When using the kard I run one more blue, damage stays the same but armor regen gets beefy.

nice to see that there are many players playing technican. im playing now for about 3 weeks, fresh lvl 40 and having problems to get the right setup. almost every build is damagebuld für striker and so on.
4 piece rigger. Same holster and Wyvern knees also works. No cooldown. A bit less damage though.
this is one way to do it...i prefer my hybrid build, legendary or heroic no matter i still get them and survive.

I resort to a skill build during times when my vision issues get to be more of a problem yet I still want to have fun in Div2. At times my eyes will lose focus and I am not able to coordinate as quickly to make good body shots much less headshots. And not just my turret drone build but also status effects and bleed builds.
Turret and drone builds can get through legendary solo too. I just use Protection from elite mods and armor regen instead of skill haste on gear. Memento backpack too

Hi Buddy. Great video as always. I prefer my Hard Wire skill build. 3 pieces with 2 Hana and 1 Wyvern. With my striker drone and Stinger hive. It’s so powerful. Especially using the hardwire. I am the same I use 1 armour on my Wyvern with Armour Reg my armour is 1.2, good enough for a skill build. You should try this build. Thanks bud and keep those videos coming I love them 😊
Woo! First!!! I have a similar build but I like to switch out the drone for the oxidizer sometimes. Especially on mission, just to get those guys that don't pop out of cover while the others move into positions to flank me and I can't have that. Plus it creates a wall of sorts that take out any pesky drones flying through it.

I run this in open world. To me heroic open world is the best thing about division running into 4 or 5 different groups having to fall back to re group is awesome. I do like to run it with 5 tiers and more blues if I’m being lazy. Otherwise glass cannon adds a bit of scariness with that ammo directive cause the dot will kill you if you get that one hit that takes u down to no go and armor. Sometimes that AI on the skills is a nightmare thou when they decide to go after a group behind u that’s not even in ur sites yet and they come rushing after u. I have found running across zones is sometimes a must to save ur ass
You can easily use cool skills. That directive doesn’t cancel your other skill. Your cool down is only 12 second. Grab your turret, hold on to it for 8 seconds, place it, then your drone is ready to be popped.
Good amount of info, good job. I just wish you guys would pop your loadout in a dark room or solid background because its much easier for some us newbies (esp if ur old like me :) to see the panel and follow along with what your saying. Anyway ,like what your during here and I like skill builds. I'm 99% solo , fighting from distance most of the time so I like this one.
Its also nice to see a creator using tech support and not combined arms.
i’m shd 4000 and still haven’t gotten a damn waveform holster yet. last november i spent an entire month farming for one and never got it. was able to fully optimize my capacitor from all the dodge city holsters i deconstructed

Hello this build is great the only thing I don’t have empress gloves so I use a pair of 511 gloves with the same attributes on them I went to the same place you was at and tried to go into the kitchen to get some water and come back and you know what it’s great I hid in the same spot you was in and use a six shooter handgun the orbit never use it thank you for this build keep up the good work

I’ve used this build in the incursion for any faze and it works lol 😂 I’m probably never running another dps build again there’s like no point. I watch the videos these guys make on builds for D2 and it’s kinda funny because they do so much to survive or kill and I just slap my upgraded version of this build here on and carry everything. I’m just hoping they don’t nerf skills or maybe possibly add new ones that would be nice.
Nice build. Gave me some ideas to better my own build. Now to just get kinetic momentum and the right attribute rolls on the chest.

my problem with the turret is that a lot of times it gets stuck on a target, and doesn't listen to me when I switch it to target a different npc.
Same here. Even the drone is rebillious in this game. I generally use them to take down the heavy enemies. But these two will focus on others instead.
Fyi, I run all 5 directives with drone and turret. With cool skills you can deploy your drone 10 second before you reach the activity and then put your turret out when you get there. I don’t see the point in throwing away an extra 25% xp when there is an easy work around.

Hi, new to Division 2 here. I'm trying to use your Dark Winter build, having trouble surviving in Heroic and sometimes in Challenge. Both this vid and that Striker with Dark Winter + ACS12 doesn't show which mod you are using for the weapons and skills. Where can I find info on this?

I've run this build for a while. You can use this build with the artificer and the oxi and melt everything.
How do you get the numbers to pop like that? I don’t know what do I’ve to change in settings to have dps numbers show up when my skills or weapons hit a target. Also thanks for the build :)

My thing is the NPCs mob you they come from behind they attack from all angles like Smith I never get a run like this.
I play 2 chataters on heroic and ledgendayrt and incursions. at same time with one skill or healer and 1 dps so yes skill builds are easy and no reason to to have any armor regen just keep mop in your hand and u get armor on kill and u don't even have to shoot

I have a similar build, but with skill attributes only, without defense. No one can get close, so I don't need to defend myself...😅
Add busy bee with all directives on
I prefer to run with cool skills for my 4th directive and the capacitor as my main weapon, just as a change from my normal run and gun builds.

They should make a fat agent skin for this build.
Get rid of the skill duration mods and put armor on kill mods on there.
Kills by skills give your armor.
So then you can swap the kneepads for something much better.
Your missing alot of damage
I've levelled up through the entire game, from 1-1, 500 using my skill builds, so spent a lot of time on it.
I would personally not use Waveform. Saying that it is 'best in slot' is very, very inaccurate.
Rather use memento instead of Waveform for the 30% skill efficiency. 😊
Replace the mods with protection from elites or skill duration.
You can better utilise the free skill tier the Kard gives you. Technician gives you 6. So you can swap out for two Brazos with Skill damage, re roll the Picaros Holster to either armour or skill tier.
The BRO skill build hits the hardest and is categorically best in slot for high end pieces.
And of course, glass cannon, if you're just sat there. 😅❤

I run this build but I use the 6 skill tiers for overcharge then use Harmony rifle for perfectly in sync and I do more damage than this...

My drones act stupid half of the time...hello get over here and shoot. If I had waveform I would actually survive more.
That’s why I never bother with the drone. It used to work great but now it’s a pain .

Problem is the game does not like to drop those pieces with skill damage
Also there is an armor set where the backpack lets you fully reset deployable skills on manual cancelling

Coincidentally I'm intending on reworking my similar skill build and chasing out two yellows for two reds due to the KARD and the specialist 1+ skill tier.

No it will help you hit harder.

i love skill build from the 1st game, and for 2nd game i build this too . just fun
It's just confusing as a new player how and where I get all of these pieces in order to do said build
so target loot farming is you friend open big map hit down to see target loot and farm the logo that matches they gear you are farming.
This doesn't scale well with 4 players memento belstone and emeline's quard is the better option

Except this type of play style is literally rendered useless when doing content with EMP skill disabling stuff - something the Devs need to fix IMO

Generally speaking i love skill build's BUT, i hate the fact that there are things in the game that COMPLETELY shut you down. These goddamn EMP towers for starters and if you are unlucky enough to face rogue agent with jammer skill... you are also F'ed. They will shut your skills down and just walk to wherever you are hiding and blast you back to the last century! Not to even mention Summit final boss encounter. Skill builds are pretty much useless!
IMO the game is a bit poorly balanced when it comes to this little detail where some builds have catastrophic weakness to something and on the contrast, some other builds walk through anything like no problem at all?!
All your skill builds are very similar. Have you ever considered trying something completely different?
I have two skills builds and they are very different to this.

Decent build. Not the best.
I run 3 hana u, 2 picaros holster brand and momento, capacitor, kard pistol, 4 directives heroic, 6 yellows, 4 reds, 2 blues, start with kard, deploy skills, switch back / forth capacitor. Glass canon. Tactician. Assault and striker. Gear level 12.
You're missing out on skill efficiency form Empress.
@RaulNigli is not a big deal. That's an overrated talent. Momento adds to it also.

@kenster67100 I use momento and that's plently. The thing is, the bots are dead way before the time on my skills ends. So, I typically have to kill them off after engagements because the bots are long gone. If my striker drone gets destroyed, it's back up in under 15 seconds. Doubtful "skill efficiency" will improve that more. So for that build, it's overrated.
@@Andrews.1 Doubtful, or you know for a fact? Look up what skill efficieny does. Also, Momento starts with 0 SE, until you pick up tokens, whereas Empress has that 10% from the get go. 3xEmpress beats 3xHanaU hands down. Look up the BRO Skill build. Try that for a change. You'll love it. A bit hard to farm, some unicorns in there, but deffo doable.

Lots of people still use them. You just don’t use them in the incursion. But for legendary missions or legendary summit they are very effective. I know lots of skill build players
Rubbish lots of guys use skill build. Especially on Legendary missions and other things. I got killed 2 days ago of a group of rouges with skill builds
