Yes especially so many from new Orleans and on lost much more. State farm is denying claims and fema has been tapped out for several years that its been a real struggle. I can't imagine how sad losing all the dolls let alone home would cost. I think Melissa needs to get her doll collection appraised in case of any disaster.

For the cinematic viewer there is a piece of cardboard that needs to go between the black back piece and the glitter part with the scene. That white background makes it so you can see the scene.

The skirt from her first outfit reminds me of the sewing class we had in the late 80s/early 90s where girls would take an old pair of blue jeans and cut them right below the pockets and zipper around the hip area and then attach some gathered cotton fabric around the bottom to make a sort of fit-and-flare skirt.

Man, you talking about Ida brought me flashbacks of when Maria hit Puerto Rico... My condolences to the families who lost people during the storm. Storms/Hurricanes are just horrible and after Maria I do not wish anyone the experience and aftermath of those things.

I must admit that this is one of my favorite videos! I have watched it several times. It also convinced me to get all four dolls. ;) My daughter and I found it in the middle of bad on top of bad on top of bad. It made us laugh and laugh which was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

These dolls are 'double features' because they are playing the roles of two big sisters. The black and white outfit is for when she is Kansas QT's big sis & is Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz before the movie becomes color. Then when it becomes technicolor she is Pop Heart's big sis which is why there there is pop art makeup and so many comic book like themes.

She is the only one I have of the movie magic collection, I absolutely love her, she so beautiful but very difficult to dress. I’m obsessed with her hair and her skirt. Personally I really recommend this doll :)
I think box is a cute design, but it's definitely not something I'd personally use for display, so it went into the recycling.
I love this doll! I have a headcanon that her and her sister Pop Heart are the cousins of Shapes and Angles, since they all reference art and art culture.

Definite Wizard of Oz vibes for the skirt and top outfit, plus the silver shoes which had to be ruby slippers in the film to show up properly, but in the book, they are silver!

These are some of the very few lol OMG dolls i actually like. The two different outfits and the playset all in one is intriguing. I love starlet's jacket and out of the 4 i love this one. She's got the 60s popart style which they did do for posters and stills in movies back then
I collected all rainbow High series 3 got 4 of them on sale on Walmart $17.85, $21.56 on 2, and $21.44. Only paid full price on mint & peach. So I’m hoping to get movie magic omg when they go on sale especially want Spirit Queen. Starlette is my 2nd fav. Then Gamma Babe. Ms Direct is my least fav of the 4. Def think I want the collector doll too. Hopefully the studio goes on sale too not going to buy it unless it’s $100 or less. I did splurge though and bought my daughter a full box of the surprise tots so she got all 12 of those she definitely plays more with those than these larger dolls I think it has to do with them being so hard to dress like Barbie is definitely easier.

You open the packaging like me. So you make feel some normal as most of the time I'm not. The first outfit I actually wore in the 80s in college to b as re with cowboy boots. The second outfit I actually had a sweater very similar to that one. It was the 80s and what can I say. I rodeo and was a barrel racer and sponsor by a large boot company and wore new color and fashion boots and my wardrobe was crazy. I'm going g ed t this doll. Thank you for sharing. Yes I grew up with the VHS car rewinder thing lol 😂 it was red and my siblings and I would get in trouble if we didn’t use it after watching a movie. I ruined Cinderella for watching it so many times and my younger sis ruined Grease for watching it so much.

I just opened this doll today and the box cover was different, the lenses were out on the cover of the box on the face of the doll pocture, and on the back instead of saying Gama babe it says Galaxy Gurl, 🧐. I wonder why

Lord, they wanna torture their buyers with the complex packaging. Lol. You got give props though that they are going the extra mile with their designs. I was not going to get any of these but The Doll Circle's video got me interested in Spirit Queen. (Aka This is me blaming my doll collecting on some poor youtuber. Lol)

There was a separate rewind machine you could get, but, it could break the tape after so many rewinds.
I saw these at walmart today and was wondering what they were. Just from looking at the box I knew I had to have them all. You posted this video shortly after I got home and now I know I need them all and the big set.
