I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!
I don't know if MGA is making the dolls for play or collectors. What I can say is by chance, I was at Target 4 days ago, and a little girl (7 ish, I think) was trying to decide on which doll to get. The adult with her would only allow one doll purchase. Some of the things the girl said were so cute. Anyway, she decided on Moonlight BB. The adult kind of questioned her choice, and the girl was all about the goth looks in dolls, especially this one, are great. I tried to stay away, moved (and kept myself) to the next isle, but could hear nearly all, that is how excited this girl was in her choice. Yes, youths want them too.

I ordered her on Amazon as soon as she came out. She was worth it. Black and midnight blue are two of my favorite colors, and I love the more Victorian/Romantic Goth aesthetic. She is literally perfection.
The eyeliner is a style called graphic liner! It's really popular nowadays. You put your base down and then but a liquid liner on in bold unusual ways, no eyeshadow usually

This is honestly the first OMG doll I don't find completely hideous. She looks great in her box outfit, but she's completely adorable once she's all dressed. I agree, the hat is dumb.
Hat would be cute if her hair was down, but absolutely does not work with her hair up.

Lol), totally a goth (on the inside), my first OMG was Shadow, a massive doll collector and I absolutely refuse to grow up (yes, adulting does get done too). I have memories of watching beetle juice when I was young with my dad - we popped fresh popcorn with butter , made root beer floats with red vine licorice straws ! I was born in 1982 , so theirs my age range ! Lol
I don't really buy dolls myself though I love watching doll reviews on YT, but these latest LOL OMGs are almost pushing me to actually start collecting 😭 I love their clothes so much!! MGA has been doing great with the packaging for OMGs :0 I have the boombox set, it takes up so much room, but once I have the space to set it up it’s gonna make an excellent display 😍
I love Beetlejuice!! Watched it many times and never get tired of it, i think Michael Keaton was made for that part, but the whole cast was amazing. They don't seem to make quirky, fun films like that any more. All the black comedy films these days seem to miss the mark. I really like that doll, i may have to get that one.
Oh man, I had to pause for a minute to listen to Hello by Evanescence. It's been yeaaars since I've heard that song. I remember getting that CD when it came out (I was 9 at the time). Just a few months later my 4 year old cousin passed away, and I played that song on repeat for what felt like forever. It always reminded me of her for whatever reason. Such a great song.
I can't believe that she gives off so many Lydia Deetz vibes from both the movie and the Broadway show (Yes, there is a Beetlejuice play and it's worth looking it up because they did amazing!). And the purse-book I do believe is supposed to be a nod to the one you mentioned. Also with the coloring, she is absolutely stunning! I don't collect OMG's (Mainly Monster / Ever After High and now Rainbow High) because I just got back into doll collecting but her aesthetic screams Hot Topic and I love it.
This doll is very high in my "wish" list. I love her goth style! She also reminds me of Lydia, and a little of Wednesday Addams, as a grown up. I think that you would look fine with black and blue-colored hair, you should try ^_^ (or maybe only a lock of hair)

As a gothic woman and doll collector I'm super happy that there's another goth doll in the big sisters lineee. Definitely going to buy her as soon as she's released here in the UK! 😭I used to watch you all the time as a kid, and you always reminded me so much of my own mother! I remember when you first mentioned your MS and I nearly cried because that's what my mom had. She was always so supportive and sweet with my interests, like how you are with us and Kaden! And you two even had the same taste in music! I think you two would have gotten along if you had met her. I just wanted to say, thank you for these videos. I'm older now and still love dolls, and I still love you! You feel like a second mom to me, as weird as that sounds.
Now, onto the doll ahhh. She's so cute! I don't have money right now to rebuild my collection or start a new one but this line is up there on the list of things I want! The packaging is so creative and cute. I much prefer the more stylized doll lines, they're so cute. If I had the funds I'd dress like this lmaooo, but I couldn't pull it off. If they ever make a boho-chic, or hippie-inspired character I'd be on it in a second.
EDIT: ALSO! I def think they should have made the hat a different color, it looks a bit too close to the shade of blue in the hair, ya know?

I was raised by a strict Italian Catholic Great Grandmother, so I was not allowed to go Goth in High School, but I do collect Gothic Dolls like Monster High, Tuesday Meow, cute hello kitty plushies in gothic outfits, and Maudline Macbre.
I was goth or emo at heart. I just couldn't wear black cuz of the heat. I always liked the style just couldn't wear it. I did dye my hair black once.

Moonlight BB is my favorite doll from the OMG line, and I've never been goth. I just think she is absolutely gorgeous and magnetic. Mine looks a little different from yours, in that her bangs flare out away from her face instead of framing her face, and I think it is so beautiful on her. I opted to not use her hat (super weird), sunglasses, and collar, and I love the look. She is just such a great doll.

It was actually at Hot Topic I discovered Duran Duran. One of their songs played, “Come Undone” and it resonated with me. A few days later I played that song in the car when I was on the way to the car wash with my Dad and was pleasantly surprised this was also his favorite song!

I got that as I was editing. Maybe someone out there is in a bad place and the story would have been too close to home. Who knows. I’ve just learned to heed those feelings :-)

She's really pretty!! I bought her BFF first, and am afraid to pull the box out too far that I might tear something up. I am very new the LOL OMG Surprise Dolls. I only have 2 of them so far, and one Tween.I'd like to buy this one as soon as I have some more spendable cash. She's really beautiful in your review.I really love this combination of colors on her. That blue really pops against the black and I love her hairstyle. Besides Beetlejuice, there's also imo, a bit of Wednesday Adams in her look too. I love the Adams Family. I read that Charles Adams original cartoons were considered the beginning of Goth.

I just wanted to share- Im on vacation out in Billings Montana, and I went into a Walmart- I was so surprised to see all of the Barbie Extra dolls and the playset as well as the "Wheel of Fortune" Barbie Extra doll (sorry idk the exact name :)), and then the new winter Rainbow High dolls as well as the Rainbow High closet all out on the shelves! Im was surprised because out on the East coast we get everything a lot later.

My first LOL OMG doll was Crystal Star very lucky to get her when she sold out at the Wal-Mart and the day I got her too! But I think the lol Omg doll that got me into them was my second one Kitty K!
I have currently got seven L.O.L O.M.G dolls, and have six more on the way! My mum may just be a little crazy and mad on me. 😂🤣 But I love them so much! I’m from the UK, and we don’t have Moonlight BB here yet, but I ordered her from the US Amazon site, and she’s already being shipped to me. Which is why I also want to say I am surprised they extended the shipping time for you, as you’re in the USA. Lastly, I love your videos, and watch them all the time!

I thought I was going to like moonlight more than sunshine. But I think the artwork kinda let me down when seeing how the doll came out. While I didnt care for Sunshine's art, but ended up loving her doll.

When I first saw her I had a feeling I wanted her, but after seeing her I KNOW I need her!! Beetlejuice and the Addams family are classics for me and I get MAJOR Lydia and Wednesday vibes her. Luckily my birthday is coming up in October so much dad will get her for me. There's only one thing I don't like about her and it's that I just wished she was a libra or scorpio, pretty silly I know.

I love Sweets and Moonlight BB, but don't vibe with Sunshine and regret buying Spicy Babe because mine came with all sorts of issues.
As I was watching this I was opening Sunshine Gurl.
Moonlight is the first LOL I got. She’s so much fun. I still have her mirror, but I didn’t have enough room for the rest of the box. 😔 I got a bunch of Barbie Looks that year too. I love LACE and I had a dress like that with a white satin collar. It looked like a cross between this dress and the one Margo Robbie wears in the shoe choosing scene with Kate McKinnon in the Barbie movie. The post on one of her earrings broke so I used nail polish to paint some thumbtacks dark metallic blue and it WORKED!
One other thing I’ve noticed about the LOL’s is that they kind of remind me of the original Strawberry Shortcakes. Their outfits are such a big part of their personalities. I don’t think anybody uses the hat on Moonlight. Especially since the hat obscures the adorable double ponytails.
My gothic self is DESPERATE for this doll. I absolutely ADORE and ADMIRE Moonlight BB!! 😍
