Just be Vanilla and the problem fixes it's self.

It took his irl wife the entirety of campaign 2 to get his character to catch the hint. So now he’s playing old people and making them super flirtatious, expecting nobody to take the bait lol.

One thing to note here is how well everyone handled consent, and roleplaying in a way and in situations that give everyone involved an easy out or lots of freedom to engage or disengage to whatever degree they're comfortable. Very important with this topic even if it's with people you're very close with.
