@@paulwilliams7063 again it’s clear that I’ve acknowledged that; I was focusing on other aspects of his playing as it was clearly still the right fit for the time in the Brothers’ eyes. Phil is one of the greatest hard rock drummers imo for his laid back pocket groove but Chris Slade was a hard working powerhouse in his own right who injected a modern edge at the time he was needed.

Angus deserves a statue built. What he has done for ACDC and rock music is truly amazing. It's sad he is not recognized more. He doesn't just play guitar solos. He produces his own show within the show. Truly amazing.

Whole Lotta Rosie: The song is about an obese Tasmanian woman, Rosie, with whom the singer (Bon Scott) had a one-night stand at the Freeway Gardens Motel in North Melbourne. In addition to pointing out the woman's size, the singer finds her to be one of the most talented lovers he's ever experienced.
The song's first verse reveals Rosie's substantial physical measurements (42"-39"-56"), and that she weighs nineteen stone (266 pounds/approximately 120 kilograms). On the Live from the Atlantic Studios disc, however, Scott describes the titular woman as "... a Tasmanian devil ... weighs 305 pounds (138kg)...," a measurement that differs from the "19 stone" lyric (305 lb being 21 st 11 lb).
In 1998, speaking to Vox magazine, Angus Young remembered:
We'd been in Tasmania and after the show [Bon Scott] said he was going to check out a few clubs. He said he'd got about 100 yards down the street when he heard this yell: 'Hey! Bon!' He looked around and saw this leg and thought: 'Oh well!' From what he said, there was this Rosie woman and a friend of hers. They were plying him with drinks and Rosie said to him: 'This month I've slept with 28 famous people,' and Bon went: 'Oh yeah?!' Anyway, in the morning he said he woke up pinned against the wall, he said he opened one eye and saw her lean over to her friend and whisper: '29!' There's very few people who'll go out and write a song about a big fat lady, but Bon said it was worthy.

This is surely the best version of the song. Angus is 37 years old in here, but still lithe and strong, and his playing is so good, spot on snaptight, with some licks additional to the original track. Credit must also go to Chris Slade's incredible drumming PLUS to the music producer Bruce Fairbairn, who has rendered the sound of the concert so very well on this video, it's like being there - a rare achievement.

This was one of my first introductions to AC/DC when I was 6, never forgot how tight and fast it was then with Chris on drums and the band as a whole where so on point it blew my mind. I eventually got it on tape and was devastated when the tape deck chewed it up. Thankfully CD's came along and I was saved from 90's pop music.

I saw this tour in 91 or 92 in Sydney at the Entertainment centre and they came to play that night. It was without a doubt the best concert I’ve ever seen and when Angus popped up behind me during the solo in Jailbreak I felt like Moses seeing the burning bush, coz to a kid growing up in Australia in the 70’s and 80’s Angus was God!
