Let this be a lesson to all you youngsters. Dont go around slapping cars, or go bike riding with someone who likes to slap cars. You'll never win an altercation with a car when your just riding a bike.
@@shilopitt Also a part of a large group of kids on bicycles. A similar (if not the EXACT same) group ransacked a 7-eleven in Koreatown earlier. A lot of those kids looked like him and were his age (also A LOT middle school aged kids too). He was out with idiots regardless if he did nothing or not, since clearly someone in the group was causing problems with drivers 'for fun'. These kids on bikes in groups aren't just out riding for fun anymore. Funny enough most of the kids who ran from that 7-eleven immediately bolted to east on Wilshire towards the direction that this kid lives in. I don't think their day ended there.
As a bus driver and driving on fig I never see these type of kids causing any problems but take over one lane for a few minutes. This is sad to see happen.
@@shilopitt This is true. He was an honor roll student who was out with a group of teens slapping cars. Apparently he wasn't even the one who slapped the car, he was just the honor roll student that got run over.
Interesting fact, a large group of teens on bicycles ransacked a 7-eleven in Koreatown (mostly alcohol and junk snacks) hours before this happened. My mom saw it and it was about 100 kids who fled on on bikes. This kid lived closer to Koreatown and that 7-eleven than where he was run over. What was he doing there??? I wonder if he was a part of that group from earlier and this is how his night ended. LAPD should look at that footage to see if he was involved even though he probably blended in with all the other Edgars in that group. I have a feeling he was.

Definitely a kid that was up to no good. Maybe if he would’ve had parents that cared and good guidance, life would’ve been different
