There was no assault or attempted assault, just words, so how is the dog justified? There was no attack on the owner. People defending the dog keep diverting to "attack", the only attack was the dog.
That was because the dog most likely stopped it before it can happen. Don’t get into someone’s face just like this neighbor did. A dog will protect its owner when it feels threatened.
@lemontea128 So the dog is considered a weapon if you argue with someone. Sort of like holding a knife .. "I thought they were going to hit me because they were really mad so I used the knife". The neighbor got in the woman's face. That's very threatening behavior. If you hit someone you would not be charged as you can claim you felt your life was in danger. The dog is no different in how it thinks.
@WorldReserveCurrency Nope. That's not the law. You'd be okay if my dog bites you because you're having an argument with me. Got it. There's a police report on this, an animal control report on this .. I don't see anywhere in this story where the person who was bitten was arrested for attempted assault. I'll bet the person bitten sues the dog owner for medical bills and emotional distress. So not only is the dog being put down, the owners have to pay the victim. Too bad the dog has such careless owners.

Conan is just like any other typical dog. That dog was protecting its owner. A judge cannot rule for an animal to be put down while ruling in favor of unsanitary conditions of cows and chickens in farms.
Was the pitbull loose, and in public grounds at the time of the bite? That's the ONLY thing that matters here. And the dog shouldn't have to be put down. Rather, the owner of the dog should be fined/jailed. Sick and tired of dogs paying for the mistake of the human who fails to follow leash laws. You can keep the MOST aggressive dog, but if you are responsible enough to keep the dog on a leash, and physically able to control the dog, then that dog is fine in THAT person's hands. But if you're the type of let your dog loose in public, then you need jail time or fine.

If this is legit, hide you dog because you are about to get screwed.
if a pittie bit you, its because it thought you presented a threat to itself or its family.
So the Bennards' two year old daughter and five month old son "posed a threat to their family," and that's why their pitbulls ripped them to shreds?
❤❤❤
Conan is just like any other typical dog. That dog was protecting its owner. A judge cannot rule for an animal to be put down while ruling in favor of unsanitary conditions of cows and chickens in farms.
That’s bs. Dogs don’t protect their owners the way people think.
This dog was on a leash. The problem is that the neighbor got in the owners face. That means he/she was of close proximity to the dogs owners to which he felt threatened. Let alone the claims of the neighbor tormenting the dog on previous incidents.
Save him
@@lemontea128 If the dog was on a leash, then I'm with the dog owner.
I wish the reporting made that clear, because to me, whether the dog was on leash or off leash changes things greatly.
@@lemontea128 is there proof the neighbor did this or are these two owners lying?? We only hear their side
There is no proof the neighbor was abusive to the dog or the owners, we are only hearing the owner's side and they are probably lying. The news needs to get both sides of the story.
"Keep fighting i fought for my dogs when someone was lying about my dogs i won after that i had Denali for 10 years and Juno for 11 years. I miss them both very much 😢😢No way i was going to let the city put down my 🐶🐶
Kind of like Iran using Hamas.
All these people who have killed other people and they dont get put down
LLConan 💯💪❤
