You are awesome! And this was such a fun video to shoot! Thank you so much for the great coverage and coming down to our little corner of the world to visit! Come back anytime, and I'd love to do some collabs with you in the future if you'd be open to it! Thanks to all of you commenting such nice things about our store. We appreciate it more than we can possibly express on a RUclips comment thread! Y'all are our lifeblood and we can't do it without you! And thanks again RetroWolf! You're amazing!
Chris is a great guy, he’s always done great business. He is kind, knowledgeable, and personable. That’s hard to find. The store is always well taken care of and he has very fair prices. Thanks Chris!
Easily my favorite retro game store on the east coast of Florida! An absolute must-visit when near the Melbourne area. Had a blast helping video this tour as well!
This guy is very down to Earth on his takes, and transparent with the structure of his system. Military polite and respectful with his critical thinking answers. I also love how he mixes a few sought after titles along with the commons. To give each section a resonance of eye candy. 1 issue I see with a lot of game stores is they have too much Shovelware or Movie titles in a section. Sapping motivation to even look there creating a death pile. Making people just hog the glass case rambling about how expensive stuff is window shopping. However he's left a few in order to breath life/interest in each section who'll probably leave with a few commons in hand to strike a bundle deal. Properly navigating a consumer's curiosity. His policy of rewarding cleanliness is also solid, cus collectors tend to be very condition obsessed these days. Which I can understand for over $100+ mark up items. And it takes the labor or money needed to thoroughly clean them off your back, cus it's something that can really snowball while running constant stock or properly pricing during prep hours. In a market that's now constantly fluctuating! He knows his consumers and making the proper adjustments to keep everything convenient to maintain order.
This may just be the single greatest compliment I have ever received in almost 10 years of business. Your analysis of my business is spot on and humbling. Thank you. This means a lot to me.
This was truly an amazing game store tour And what I really do admire. Is the fact that this game store that you went to is extremely organized and also very clean And games that are reasonably price And overall you could tell that this store definitely has a lot of quality to it fantastic video.
Amazing game store tour man! I really like how Chris takes pride in keeping his store clean and very organized. The ATM is a plus! I’ll have to check out this store when I’m in Melbourne. Btw, I will never crap on the Wii. There are some great gems on that console. Glad you found another game to add to your GameCube collection. 😎💯🎮
Been going here for years. Great people super professional and it feel like every employee has a specific subject they are absolute geniuses about. I always give gift cards for the holidays to RSG.
Ready Set Game is awesome, without a doubt the best game store in the county. Chris is a great dude and deserves all of his success, and it's no surprise thay they've been there for going on 10 years. His staff are all really nice and knowledgeable as well! The best!
Discovered your channel not too long ago. I like the chill vibes and passion for retro games. Nice to see stores like these, there’s only a handful of retro stores in my area. I’ve been collecting mostly for PS3 and GameCube lately, love the variety for those consoles. It’s been so hard finding quality games in good condition for the GameCube. I’ve been looking for Mario Party 5 (I have 4, 6 and 7) but all the copies I’ve seen were scratched a decent amount
Wow Matt, what an amazing store! So clean and so beautifully organized. The trade-in they are offering on Switch is just insane. Congrats on adding another GC to the collection. Sweet price as well.
Ready Set Game is and has always been my #1 spot for retro gaming. As a Melbourne native I grew my GameCube and N64 collection single-handedly from this store. Chris is the best owner I’ve met and his knowledge for games is incredible
Absolutely beautiful store you showcased here, I love how clean and organized everything is. I bet none of those game cases feel grimy or caked in dirt. Would love to visit this one some day!
Man you really need to check out Starhawk on the PS3 Retro Wolf if you're starting to dip your toes in that console. You won't regret it and it's not even that long of a game.
@@RetroWolf_YT Thanks brother! Would love a behind the scenes of how you make it happen, but I understand that may be niche. either way i appreciate u!
@@RetroWolf_YT Just purchased the same one and have been recording for a few days now in Japan. What settings are you using for the majority of the time? No pressure to answer, I know your a busy man.
If I remember correctly I just dial down the dB a bit on both transmitters and the receiver. But my recommendation is to do several audio tests at different settings and find the one that sounds best to you. I also do some post processing on the audio in Adobe
@@RetroWolf_YT Awesome. I have the complete series on DVD. Fun fact: In the early 2000s, it was me and my friend who started a petition to get the Zelda cartoon on DVD. It was us that made it happen. I even made calls to the head of DiC. RJ
I'm not necessarily trying to complete it by the end of the year lol. Not sure why you keep bringing that up. My goal is to complete it by the end of 202

Dope store! I love seeing these kinds of stores cause they bring me back to the 90s/2000s. The owner seems a really cool guy.
Chris (the owner) is a great guy for sure!!
You always present a good tour, be it a game room or game store. Very enjoyable!
Thank you! I really enjoy making these types of videos!!

You should have seen the store before Chris got a hold of it. It went from a dump to a premier Video Game Store.
I believe it! Glad Chris made it awesome

Yeah finding good condition GameCube games is a challenge for sure. Game Conventions are your best bet
Loved ReadySetGame when I lived in Brevard County, FL.
Enjoyed buying retro games and playing tabletop card games. Great store! Awesome owner. :)
I wish I lived closer to it! 😭
Awesome tour, very nice store. It does put off GameStop vibes.
Gamestop WISHES it could be like this store haha

Nice to see where I was born Chris put in this awesome hidden gem store where I grew up. I look forward to visiting the store. 😊
🤘🤘
Great store! The reason 360 is getting pricey is the 360 store is closing July 30th. It's getting crazy out there for some of the exclusives.
That's definitely one of the reasons, but there are other factors at play before that
Absolutely beautiful store you showcased here, I love how clean and organized everything is. I bet none of those game cases feel grimy or caked in dirt. Would love to visit this one some day!
If you are ever in the Orlando area make the drive down and check it out!
Store looks hella nice! Great tour video!

Will do!!
Wow! looks amazing. Next time we are down there we'll have to check it out.
Hell yeah I'd recommend it!
Another awesome game store tour! “A Top 10 Game Stores” recap video might be pretty awesome!
One day when I have enough I may do that!
That portable gaming shirt is awesome!
Thanks!!
I buy almost all of my cartidge games from them, and its also where I got my Genesis and 32X. I cannot recommend them enough!
Awesome!
This was an incredible store tour! I wish I had something like this near me😂
Let's open one haha
Lmao glad that my Zelda DVD found a home. I forgot I brought it in until I saw this 🤣 enjoy it
That show is so damn funny lol
This is an awesome store!!
Agreed!
This guy for sure sold that strategy guide after this video.
Lol
Got my complete copy of Soul Blazer on SNES here several years ago while on vacation. I couldn't recommend this store enough!
Hell yeah!
Cool store. I still have (and play) my 16-bit sega and also have a turbo graphix 16😉
Nice!
What up bro, love the videos and the energy
Thanks!
I wish we had game stores like that here!!
Game stores this awesome are definitely rare
@@RetroWolf_YT I agree
I just subb to your channel bro i Love games and that gamecube game looks fire 🔥 i never seen it before?
Thank you so much I appreciate it!
Yeah.....I also grew up with NES, SNES, an Genesis. Early 90's gaming was great. Mario vs Sonic........Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat.
Agreed!
Need to go back
Retro Wold with a store tour
The Nintendo World Championship NES Edition comes out this summer. I plan to get it soon.
Is that Gamecube Galaxy behind the camera? Hey man
Haha good eye! That is indeed me!
It is! Haha
I’m hoping to meet you down at Corgscon in Columbus. You going to have a booth?
I'll be there running around and filming. If you see me please say hi!
Roadkill is underrated! It's not an amazing game, but it's fun and funny.
Nice!
My local Gamestop is pretty thrashed. This store is much better than any GS I've visited.
Gamestop is sadly garbage these days
360 actually came out in 2005, so we are even closer to 20th anniversary! 😢
Makes me feel old
Cheddar doing business with you
Would love to pop in but I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
Just a hop and a skip!!!... across the ocean... 😬
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Retro Games !
The 360 didn't come out in 2006, it came out in 2005.
🔥🔥🔥
Do you know if they resurface game discs? if I bring some of my games in
Not sure but you can call and ask. I'd guess they probably do but I don't know for sure
@@RetroWolf_YT I just called and they don’t unfortunately do you know any retro stores in the Florida area that resurface ?
@NostalgicRush unfortunately I do not. I don't live in Florida, was just in town visiting
@@RetroWolf_YT damn Florida don’t got shii 😂 thanks anyways and love the video definitely goin to check this place out in the next few weeks
@@NostalgicRush Gamers Hut in Stuart, FL does resurfacing if needed I believe 👍
What do you use to film? Cell phone and a portable mic? Loving the quality
GoPro Hero 12 creator kit for video for most of the video, had to switch to my phone towards the end. For audio it was the DJI Mic

@@RetroWolf_YTmy apologies, I meant video settings for the GoPro. There's so many options to maximize it.
The 360 came out in 2005, not 2006.

Did you end up buying that Zelda DVD?

Yes

Uncharted for ps3!!!
I've played the whole series on PS4. Loved them
I saw you found a GC game. It’s almost halfway through the year. I don’t think you can complete the set by the end of it.

Is that a 666 tattoo on your arm?
Lol no, it is my grandfather's initials CGG 🤣
@RetroWolf88 that's good to hear. I even zoomed in but still wasn't sure
