I believe we have this all wrong. The host isn’t like a host that has guests and whatnot. I believe that the entity known as Waffle House has found its new host body. A child was born and it has become the next reincarnation of Waffle House, it is Waffle House’s new host.

Uncle Iroh is a perfect Waffle House host. He isn’t a cook (unless you’re talking about tea) based on the fact that he was sad when Zhao took the cook from Zuko’s ship. He is very friendly, willing to talk to anyone he comes across, and is extremely empathetic. He’s comfortable working any time of day, as you can see from his invasion of Ba Sing Se. He led his army day and night to break into the impenetrable city. He’s chill and wise, but he’s also one of the most powerful firebenders in the world. And he would never be too aggressive, and he knows when to stop. That’s why I think uncle Iroh is the new host.
It's a great idea. But there's one or two things still here, in my opinion. Coffee. Is there a tea option in a Waffle House ? Also, come to think of it, he's a bit... old. I know, he's pretty capable (fitness-wise), but this, again - in my opinion, is still at play.
Shaggy is not only a good candidate for a waffle house host. He is actually an amazing employee if motivated by food. In a universe with no mysteries, he's literally an award winning chef. Guarantee him an unlimited buffet for break and he'll operate an entire waffle house with only himself and Scooby.

To be fair, I was always stoned and just cooked what they wanted. I'd let the servers deal with ringing up orders and stuff, I just cooked. And I think that might be what got me so many tips. Listening to orders isn't hard, and neither is cooking.

I actually had on the job training for this with a company that partners with my grocery store. When they say natural flavors & coloring, they are referring to flavors that are sourced directly from things that can be found in the natural world. The flavors and colors are not synthesized but that doesn’t mean that the flavors and colors aren’t processed. In the training they actually passed around the type of seed that they use to dye their yellow cheese yellow.
They don't wanna put words like methylanthranalate ( grape flavor) on the packaging. Likely because people will Google that word and realize its sold as a pestacide and bird repellent in agriculture.

For this reason, I believe "The Waffle House has found its new host" is referring to the Waffle House in a similar way to Specimen 12 from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion.
Monkey D. Luffy is the perfect host for the Waffle House. One of the big character traits of Luffy is the fact that he is very friendly. He’s genuinely a good person who knows how to comfort people when they are down (beating up whatever bothers them) He’s chill when he needs to be, and is a fighter. He isn’t too aggressive (has never killed anybody according to Oda) He is able to work at any hour (has no solid sleep schedule, but rather takes naps at random intervals) He will always take advantage of free food, doesn’t matter the reasons why. He may not be able to cook, but that isn’t one of the expectations.

In all honestly I think someone who’s mastered some form of martial arts would be better, at least for the fighting part of the job. You have more control and more options to safely neutralize the target. That being said, Shaggy is basically the ultimate life form. The perfect man for any job.
I live up in New England and I recently went on vacation to Georgia and I was VERY surprised to see all the waffle houses down there. I saw more waffle houses than I saw McDonald's.

He stores whatever he could, solid as in complete theories and full on proof with no possible denial, liquid as in theories that fill up most opposition but still float around with different thoughts, and air as in the emptiness of some theories. The air is usually flavored with a bit of salt/pepper to it to make it more into something. As the jar open's others feel or see the ideas of one such named MatPat.

Your choice of Shaggy is definitely a strong one, MatPat. I certainly support it, but I also want to throw Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon into the mix for a different idea of a Waffle House host. She's very empathetic, loves to help others feel better through good food (her favorite foods are meatloaf and cherry pie so she definitely knows about hearty cuisine) and can definitely hold her own in a scrap, even without superpowers. Of course this would have to be something she does once she's out of high school, but I think Mako hits a lot of the keys to the host job, though she might end up treading close to the line on aggression.
Jupiter loves to cook though. Perhaps she'd be better on the cooking staff. She can make the food amazing but if a brawl breaks out she can help keep the cooking area safe should any aggressors hop the counter. I think we're building the ultimate waffle house in these comments. Shaggy as the host, Uncle Iroh as Shaggy's sub in host (maybe he'd be a manager?) And Jupiter as the cook. Lol

I like that people seem to really love UI Shaggy. It's like finding a food combination you wouldn't have ever considered until you, randomly, did and found out that it was the butter to your popcorn. I just hope they don't overdo it.
Based off your list of requirements I feel like fin from adventure time would do well for this position, 1. Knows how to fight 2. Can talk to and reason with anyone 3. Loves food 4. Will work any hour and would probably be there early 😂 5. Chill fighter 6. Won’t be aggressive cus he doesn’t want to hurt anyone in the first place 7. Will eat if the food is put in front of him and won’t gain a huge amount of weight from it. Shaggy is only good for this part because of the hypnosis but even then shaggy gets to aggressive so idk

Jonny Razer actually has history with Waffle House. He had a viral short not too long ago about how Waffle House is basically an SCP, and how you can tell a situation is really bad if the local Waffle House isn't open. For this reason, I believe "The Waffle House has found its new host" is referring to the Waffle House in a similar way to Specimen 12 from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion.
To be fair that video was just a rehash of an old news story from a few years back about the Waffle House Index, which was created back in 04'.

One of the big character traits of Luffy is the fact that he is very friendly. He’s genuinely a good person who knows how to comfort people when they are down (beating up whatever bothers them)
He’s chill when he needs to be, and is a fighter.
He isn’t too aggressive (has never killed anybody according to Oda)
He is able to work at any hour (has no solid sleep schedule, but rather takes naps at random intervals)
He will always take advantage of free food, doesn’t matter the reasons why.
He may not be able to cook, but that isn’t one of the expectations.

In all honestly I think someone who’s mastered some form of martial arts would be better, at least for the fighting part of the job. You have more control and more options to safely neutralize the target.

Your choice of Shaggy is definitely a strong one, MatPat. I certainly support it, but I also want to throw Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon into the mix for a different idea of a Waffle House host. She's very empathetic, loves to help others feel better through good food (her favorite foods are meatloaf and cherry pie so she definitely knows about hearty cuisine) and can definitely hold her own in a scrap, even without superpowers. Of course this would have to be something she does once she's out of high school, but I think Mako hits a lot of the keys to the host job, though she might end up treading close to the line on aggression.

I would also add Ukyo Kuonji to the list. She can stand her own, loves food but is friendly and lovely to a great extend
Jupiter loves to cook though. Perhaps she'd be better on the cooking staff. She can make the food amazing but if a brawl breaks out she can help keep the cooking area safe should any aggressors hop the counter.
