Paul unfortunately you aren’t there anymore what a pity we missing the good guy who explains any concerns about external cleaning good luck on the new adventure From Down Under ….!!!!!
We had a demo of this at work today - honestly, I was impressed. It may not be as robust as a man on a ladder, but it makes a dangerous two man job into a safer one man job. Interestingly, and for those that know a bit, it can get that sigram plant out of gutters ( with all these green roofs it's getting everywhere now) so that's a plus.
BV1231000 what impressed me the most was the ENGINEERED simplicity - you seen the motors? Three individual motors, with switches, so you can run 3kw off a house supply without tripping it and also, the machine will still work with two dead motors. You don't see that often these days - more likely to see some pcb controlled unit that dies when the brain dies. Let's not Rev it up too much, it's a Hoover with a pole, but there's a lot of thought in the design.
Wouldn't be carbon fibre poles then.....don't let anybody tell you different but even with 3 or 4 CF poles it is hard work....most I have used is 5 and would want a very good price to have to use 5 again.
@@marccarter4469 I find it hard work especially anything above 2 storey...don't get me wrong I don't mind it for the money....but I have stopped doing anything above 2 storey now....I like to stick the ladder up and have a good look make sure that it's all clear...sometimes the roof felt comes too far down and hides a lot.......I'm lucky in that I can pick and choose the jobs I take on as I do window cleaning and external Upvc cleaning most days......plus I'm 61 how old are you?
@@fm1886 The reason for using one of these is so you don't have to put the ladder up,I have a gopro that I use to inspect it when finished and I am 54 in February 2020 and I don't find it difficult at 1,2 or 3 floors. We do complete home renovations and this is by far the easiest job that we get asked to do.
Alot of crap from people who have not used one of these before. Using an Omni gutter vac, the biggest problem i had was actualy moving the head untill i cut and angled it, the suction was that good at 30ft. Wifi camera on and you can see into the gutter as well. Good workout on your shoulders though.
the most important duty of the gutter cleaning job is the downspouts. If the downspouts are clogged, then the other cleaning doesn't matter. does this tool take care of unclogging the downspouts
Biggest problem I had with this was I had no idea how much the pole would weigh when I was sucking muddy debris through it. a 35ft pole full of mud weighs a ton!! I couldn't do it for more than 10 mins at a time at 3 story heights. Its too bad cuz it seemed like such a good idea to do stratas with it.
hi all the gutter vac cleaning system is a good system for small jobs but there is ups and downs you will come a cross a job or two with football field growing in the gutter then your f1cked don't get me wrong the system is ok for light stuff like moss leaves etc there will be a job where the ladders is back out i have been use the gutter vac for 5 years with a 3600 watt 3 motor vac if you think using the system is easy think again the sales people selling you the system will tell you it's the best thing since peter pan if you get the system youl see what im on about is ladders faster yes every time but this system is safer i still use the two of them hope this helps
If you could answer my question I would greatly appreciate it! I am considering the 3 motor sky vac; is it worth it over the 2 motor? Can the 3 motor get packed fir needles 1 inch in length? 5" in length? I will probably end up getting it just don't want to have to turn off the thing every 1 minute to unclog the hose. Thanks
we had the sky vac for a year, and we too found some tufts hard to grab, but since spinaclean introduced the bigger lighter more powerful tubes it is honestly like a different machine ... we rated it highly before, the extra suction with this new pipes makes it not just good, but amazing, we are in Scotland and endured a terrible wet summer and then a winter from hell, but our machine has kept going none stop when weather allowed
The thing is if down pip is blocked with plant it will not unblock if the growth of the roots that have grown down the down pip . And know matter how much you suck it will not clean it at the end of the day you will have to get ladder of van put up house and do it by hand no matter witch way you put it . But nice to see what you have to clean be for you get ladder off van lol
You just cleaned (or did you) that gutter then opened up the vacuum cleaner and there's not one leaf! Why wouldn't you show it as it is working, video it while you are cleaning the gutters with a camera on the roof at the same time? If anybody bought this their going to be very disappointed!! There is no perfect way to clean gutters. The best way is do it by hand and if you cant do it yourself employ a pro! The cost of this thing would keep your gutters clean for life!!
@@AllGoodHandlesAreGone even better, you don’t have to build anything. Buy a $130 ladder, a $4 dollar bucket, and some decent gloves. Save yourself a lot of time and money! No need for this over priced vacuum system!
lol why are Brits' vacuums so girth-less?! Kudos to guy hocking wares. I'm gonna screw it [up] nice and tight! I often like to rest my tip against the building esp. above the bedroom window! Anyone who has 7 f'n lines on his forehead DESERVES RESPECT!!!! LOL! I just looked up skyvac. Clue: Charge less make more. I'd pay $300 - $500 for this system. I would never EVER pay over $1500 for whatever you're selling. And that's a HUGE ASS stretch coming from someone who takes home 1k+ usd a day.
I really hope you don’t buy one of these you empty the gutter with ladder put rubbish in green bin done . 10 out of 10 times if gutter is leaking you have to take down pip apart to take roots that are 5 inches long or just change corner of gutter for customer witch is £6 for corner and charge them for how long it takes normally 5 mins . And be for SpinAclean says there thing I’ve been doing windows gutter and driveways for thirty years. Just think this system is not that good at all people mite buy it but will just sit in back of van as they will be up ladder doing it by hand .
Stick to drive ways mate most people only have there gutters cleaned every 50 years lol or when the water comes over the top . Witch normally means 10 black bags . And what dos you machine do when the dirt is crass 1 foot long witch is normal way . Can your vac suck that out now not at all
Thanks very much. Just ordered the atom for use alongside my window cleaning customer base, found this video a great help

Totally agree as our company is looking to offer gutter cleaning services and there is no way we are getting on a ladder why should we

This thing should have transparent tubing so you can see how well its sucking up.

We have a similar set up but don’t always use it on houses but it’s great on commercial jobs
Top class demo
I saw that camera on pole in the last issue of Creepers and Peepers.

Also when temps are freezing how do u vacuum the leaves when they are near frozen
Put a camera on the end of the pole and you can see the gutter from the ground.
Image is shaky and you risk breaking the camera....mount it on a separate pole....I personally use a ladder to check them out.
drone !
hau to cleab cutter safely with skyvac good uploud
How much is it in US dollars and, can you buy it in the US?

Thank you for the video .. very informative .
Do you have to have your collar up like it'd 1986 ?
interesting ......whats the watt on the vacs?
for the time it took to set up that device i would have had the gutters cleaned and been ready to leave.
my guys would beat you hands down ;)
Thats why you only make £5 for gutters😂 but i make £75 gutter each time hahahahahaha
Where I can buy how much Will cost

Not enough actual camera footage, it was otherwise great video, everything else covered brilliantly 👍
There is practically no camera footage in order to conceal the fact that vacuums like this perform pretty poorly.
Alex Wilding thanks for the insight, I have a kiam and find it does the job very well. The guy in the video is just salesman with an annoying voice😀👍

can you buy it on qvc
GIVE THAT TO YOUR EMPLOYEES AND SEE HOW THAT WORKS AFTER A WEEK
New fence at the beginning of the video then it’s a old fence half way through ?
Yea what the....so wierd
What are you talking about the fence did not change
C'mon Y'all... Can't say he didn't try. We will give him "E" for effort.
Can any one tell me the cost of this vac and poles
Depends which kit you buy, there's a really good kit that around £850 including camera & monitor on spinaclean website
You can literally build something similar and more effective for cheaper.
Cool, where is your channel doing it? I'll check it out
