Winston and King both know that John can't have his retirement life back after he massacred so many people during 4 movies. Someone will ALWAYS come after him. So it's better for John to fake his death and live a peaceful life somewhere. And seriously all of us fans want him take the High Table down. The end of Chapter 4 felt emotionally fulfilling but it didn't feel complete. Something was definitely missing. Did they just built King and his army up just to deliver John his suits and guns ? Nope. John Wick is apparently making a Cameo in the Spin-off "Ballerina" and even the director said studio has plans for future of the franchise and they're giving John rest FOR NOW. Something is definitely cooking.
At the moment it feels like Chad and Keanu are done with John Wick and they gave it a fitting emotional farewell. Also entire series is about consequences and JW is not above that and to find the semblance of peace John's death is only option or else someone will drag back him. I would love another movie but Keanu is not getting any younger, storyline is still their i was hoping Winston and Bowry King having more central role in 4 but they didn't maybe they will explore that in series.

One of the best series in film history. Each movie is a banger which is so so rare. I’m happy if they end it with chapter 4 as the ending was perfect. But I’m they make a chapter 5, I’m there.
