I'm 59 and do pretty much the same things that RUclipsr Chris Gibson does (sans all the expensive products) and have very little signs of skin aging. A keto diet, intermittent fasting, whole organic foods, a homemade vitamin C serum, regular exercise (walking, cycling, weight training), face yoga, collagen peptides, selenium, hydrolauric acid, and meditation.

I am 67 years old and I have been playing sports for more than 50 years. I'm a power lifter and fitness trainer two weeks ago I cycle 70 kilometers for four hours and I run and train 4 times a week in the gym. For my age I don't have sagging skin and also no wrinkles. I never take supplements and I don't use fake protein powder that’s junk food I make my own fresh protein at home and I don't eat refine sugar and trans fat and junk food that cause skin aging and heart problems and stroke. I have been taking care of my skin for 40 years and I eat foods rich in collagen and I also make my own face masks, retinol ,and more and that works perfectly and I see results.

My Korean mom (from the old country) used the exfoliate washcloth method on me and my siblings when I was growing up. It’s not the most pleasant process for a kid. However, I got used to it and it works wonders!! 😊
I still use this method on myself to exfoliate.
Makes the skin feel and look fabulous.
Now at 57, I am thankful for the health and look of my skin. I am 50% Caucasian and 50% Korean, and take after my mom.

I've been doing face yoga religiously a few times a week (or whenever I think to do it) for about 2 years and use castor oil nightly. I'm 51 and I have noticed a considerable difference in my neck skin and it's tightening without procedures. I use tretinoin a few times a week also, drink collagen nightly, and make sure to moisturize a lot! I also started estrogen/progesterone/testosterone HRT therapy and that is making a difference too. I wish I would have started HRT earlier!!! I started due to bone loss, but had no idea how much protection it provides to women after we start losing estrogen after age 35.

Thank you both. This was so fun and informative to listen to. I have found that doing my mini-tramp (the cellercisor!!!) for about 3 minutes several times a day, my bodyskin gets so much firmer. And hot /cold plunges - what a lot of Koreans do - seems so good for the vascular system and skin. I have never been heavier, or had to lose weight, where I had excess skin, but those friends of mine who have tried the cellercisor after losing weight, combined with weight-bearing resistance training have been happy with the skin tightening. The stronger and bigger my muscles, the tighter my skin also I also had terrible acne and they gave me antibiotics for years as a kid. I had acne until I stopped eating sugar, grains, seed oils and processed food with weird ingredients, after that, my acne totally cleared up. Now I never get anything. I have not had sugar for 16 plus years and I read that sugar creates glycation which causes wrinkles in the skin. If you are a parent, try giving your kids food that is organic, unprocessed, with no sugar or grains or seed oils and see if that helps too. Antibiotics are brutal on the microbiome. Dietary changes in this way are so much better. That dietary change also removed rosacea from my face. Thank you both! So fun to learn from you both!

I’m 74 & started (BHRT) one year ago & my skin all over is definitely thicker & stronger. One big noticeable plus for me is less bruising & when it does happen, it clears up quicker. Question: I had a facelift 7.5 yrs ago & it did not address RBF. Any proven treatments, devices or advice to improve it w/o surgery?!? A lot of great info in this video. Thank you!

I went Vegan at age 62, and by March of the upcoming year, I will be Vegan 10 years. One of the benefits of the diet is that my weight normalized with additional walking, and I lost 80 lbs.
I do not have any sagging neck, in fact people constantly think I am younger than I am, I get taken as young as 40.
I do use moisturizers on my face. I do have fine lines around my eyes but they are not deep.
Generally my health is good except that I recently was diagnosed as hyperthyroid so am on a med for that and also for cholesterol which is odd as I am low-fat Vegan. I do use olive oil but not very often.
My mother had very few wrinkle, she died at age 76, currently I am 71, but turn 72 in 3 months.
A lot of how age is perceived has to do with weight and fitness. My BMi is 21, so I am thin, but not underweight. But I wear size 4 jeans.
I eat a lot of different vegetables, potatoes, pasta and rice. I do eat some soy, but mostly other beans.
I used to be 7th-Day Adventist, there are many more Vegans and vegetarians who eat this way dye to their special teachings. I have to say they as a group if they follow their suggested diet, are healthier and look well into their senior years.
The ones who do the best eat like me who show less signs of aging.
But then again, my mother had very few wrinkles on her face. She was not thin like me, but weighed 245 at her top weight. I weigh 120 lbs. She was my same height. She died of cancer, ai have had no cancers.

You are in the minority. Every older vegan i know, esp women who didn't use hrt, are incredibly wrinkly. I know one lady who has had 2 face-lift including a neck lift before 65. She is thin and fit. Low calorie, low fat is awful. High fat vegan diet often means heavier people. I know many of those too. Their skin looks better ie tighter but...they're fat and fat people don't usually look that wrinkly and saggy anyway.

The reason they don’t feel like they’re seen anymore is because so much importance has been placed on women instead of men. In every mammalian species except human, all male’s beauty, the importance is placed in the males and not in females. Can’t have it both ways.

In many Asian countries they eat a lot of chicken feet that have a lot of natural collagen. That contributes to good tighter skin. Fruits not good, too much sugar.

since he showed the movement with his arms, brushing from the wrist up toward the heart, I think he meant to say outside-in.

He clarifies so go to 27:00 & 29:00. From in to out is focused on exfoliation, then to focus on lymphatic drainage, go outside to in toward the heart. I exfoliate with special focus on dry and sun exposed areas, and then focus on lymphatic inflammation areas.
