- In this video I will review the new Kubota KX85-5 and compare it to my old model which I've had for years, the KX80-4. I point out all the new features that have been improved from the KX080-4.

The Kubota KX085-5 delivers the ultimate in operator comfort and high productivity. Together with Kubota’s proven high power, low emission direct-injection engine and robust, reliable hydraulics, there’s a host of built-in operational and safety features as standard, as well as a new ultra-quiet spacious cab for enhanced operator comfort and productivity across a wide range of jobs.
Kubota’s high power, low emission Stage V direct-injection, turbo diesel engine is equipped with CRS and improved DPF for reduced maintenance. An Engine Auto-Stop system is fitted as standard for reduced noise and emissions when idling.
Kubota’s load-sensing 2-pump system ensures smoother operation regardless of load size and is equipped with two electronically controlled auxiliary circuits plus an automatically activated 3rd line hydraulic return.
The dozer blade float function makes a clean ground surface after backfilling. And this is just one of the features that makes the Kubota KX085-5 so versatile.
An outstanding arm reach of 7.33m delivers an impressive digging force at depths up to 4.6m, enabling the operator to dig faster and more efficiently even in the toughest of conditions.
The spacious, quieter cabin is designed for optimum operator comfort and efficiency, with a wider entrance, enhanced legroom with adjustable air-suspension seat and joystick console positions. A new 7” LCD display with a user-friendly interface with right-side positioned console contribute towards improved visibility and high productivity. Kubota Tracking System is fitted as standard.
Built-in operational safety features include an integrated rear-view camera, LED worklights as well as Roll-over Protection and Operator Protective Guard as standard.

My next new toy.....???? But I would have a rotating fixed grapple on it. Kubota does make a nice machine. The kx085-5 will be coming to the States around July.. Enjoy your work and videos.

I can see you love your machines, it's in your voice a happy sound. When is the older Scania coming back it must be a year or so as I saw it sitting in a trucker tim video, can't wait to see the truck all done and back. Amy I like to see you on bigger machine one day but here in Scotland some roads to travel or transport them isn't suitable, anyway keep em coming.

Not a great place to hang your jacket especially when it’s wet but most machines are like that now thanks Amy 👍🏻

Can anybody help me,I'm having trouble with my new kx060-5,I can't use the levers and the tracks at the same time or the machine is very jumpy,it's honestly a terrible drive,it's not in any other make or model and it's not in the kubota 50u or any of the 3 cylinder engines,only the 4,I don't understand why but its really not a good job
All kubtas have the wineing noise. My dads kx040-4 is really noise in the cab
I can’t say I can agree. We’ve have many of kubotas over the years and only have a slight issue with the KX80-4 however it’s not that bad as I work it everyday 😅
@the_digger_girl yeah I suppose. They are a very nice digger all the same
