In South Korea it’s abit different
so when you train to be an idol you train to rap, dance, sing, perform, public speaking they also get English lessons if they don’t know how to speak the language already which 3/4 them are fluent in English!Which is great for them having international fans.
Lisa the ginger haired one in this mv is actually from Thailand so she had to learn Korean and wasn’t allowed to speak English to anyone who could speak English she had to learn Korean very quickly which was tough for her but she got through it!

The musical references here are pretty extensive, Jennie starts out with a reference to Biggie's famous line "kick in the door, wavin the 44"(Jennie says Coco). Next Lisa references Rhianna's "Pon de Replay" with "One by one then two by two" and also 50 Cent's P.I.M.P. with "you couldn't get a dollar outta me".
