Totally impressed by your skill set for your age. I know that you put a lot of time and effort into your videos. You have an old soul buried in that body. Thanks for making it personal, as well, with your girlfriend...she's a keeper if she can put up with a gearhead for a boyfriend. My wish for you is that someday your channel will be as big as Scotty Kilmer's. He's a good mechanic, but a sensationalist, trying everything to grab viewer attention. You, Omar, are down to earth...keep it it bro...Paul
Wow thanks for the comment Paul! I’m glad she likes the classics as well hahaha If the channel could grow like Scotty’s that would be unreal! But I’m just glad people are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching!
Hello, greetings from Argentina, we are fans of the Falcon, more than half a million of these cars were sold here. I would love to upload this video to my channel and translate it into Spanish, I thought it was very good. A hug!
Hola amigo, me gustan mucho los falcons. He oido que el falcon es muy popular en Argentina pero no sabia cuantos de estos autos fueron construidos. Increible. Si puede usar el video, tambien sequi su channel! Gracias
Great shot of the Falcon driving away with the palm trees in the background. Sometimes even the most simple cars can put smiles on peoples faces! loved it!
So 😎 cool Omar! The little Falcon looks so out of place cruising around all the big, newer cars and trucks, but very neat. There isn't a better feeling of accomplishment, until you get to drive what you've been working on for so long. I'm really happy for you bro. Another great show Omar, thanks so much for sharing. Oh, and your test pilot sure is cute. Congratulations to the both of you.
Another great video, Omar. I spent many happy hours in my youth playing in my dad's nonrunning 4 door Falcon - same exact color. Great editing work. I always enjoy your videos. Seeing how happy your girlfriend was driving her car has motivated me to head outside to my cold garage and get busy on my daughter's car!
Wow that’s cool that you had a falcon, is it the same one you’re working on now? All the work you do will definitely be worth it once you see the smile on your daughter and make memories!
sweet little Falcon! I like you went the extra mile to clean and detail the engine bay. I would say by the look on her face that she approves!! Nice job
I have this same car and im 16 years old,If me and my grandpa fix this car up I can drive it next year to highschool but it probably wont happen its my only car but its really cool!
Awesome! I drove my 66 mustang everyday to college for two years. So once you have it driving and keep it maintained you’ll have no problems as your only car.
Boy watching the car drive away into the sunset brought back some memories. I had a black '62 with a red interior. Great little cars, not fast at all with a 144 engine though, swapping the 200 in from a later Ford was a real good idea. Great video, thanks for posting it.
Nothing like getting a car moving again! It's a great feeling. That 6 is probably going to be indestructible, too, if treated right. One of the best cars/trucks I've ever owned was a F150 with the 300 six without much smog crap. I could park it for 2 months and barely touch the key and it would start up immediately. Bulletproof too. Assume that engine (170??) is the same family.
Haha yes, this is the first one I’ve worked on and I can’t believe how simple it is. An in-line six in a pickup sounds really cool, just like you said it’s practically indestructible. The new one is a 200 the old one was a 144!
mr O..... great job sir ..... building a beautiful car for a gorgeous lady ..... how much better can life be? blessed seems to come to mind..... have a great day yall from Arkansas
Love the videos bro I’m a ford guy myself. I’m looking for a 63 falcon myself preferably with a 289 upgrade as a project so doesnt have to be running. Been looking but no luck
Another totally impressed comment 👏 my hats off to you! I subscribed just for the simple fact that you took that much extra time and effort to take care of your girl like that! I'm female and just bought a 62 Falcon myself. And if you haven't already done so yet? Put a ring on both them fingers! Super cute and cool you guys do car stuff together! I know alot of guys wouldn't even take the time or effort you do. My up most Respect 🙏🏼 💯 🙌
Hey there. Just found your channel. Recently purchased my first 62. It's been a dream of mine. It needs work though. Idk if you're in SoCal or can recommend a shop I can trust to take my baby to so he can get checked? Anyway great work on that engine swap!
Congrats on your new car! These are awesome cars to drive and easy to work on. I’m in socal as well, but I don’t really have a shop I go to. Mainly because it’s really expensive here. But I’m always up to help, just comment on here or send me an email. These cars aren’t too difficult once you start to work on them .
Omar that’s a great falcon it’s running really good bro me and my son bought a 63 nova 4 door sedan original patina look we are working on it my son is 15 yrs and I’m also teaching him about car we go to car show together and have fun we build a bond as father and son those are memories that we build your videos are ausom I follow your Galaxie and your Torino on RUclips your an excellent mechanic hope to meet you one day good luck on your classics
Thanks Raul! That’s awesome you have the bond, that’s what it’s all about. I worked on my first classic with my dad and he taught me a lot. We still work on these cars, wouldn’t have it any other way
Did you decide if the trans is a 3 speed? As an old timer seems to me that the 2speed trans did not have cooling lines. It was air cooled I think. Nice job fixing the old Falcon up.
Excellent work. That thing is beautiful. I'd proudly drive one of your builds. It would be interesting to see the process of making those trans lines and such, but I understand if you don't have time to film and edit all that. I am surprised you did not get more subs after the Hagerty thing; you seem so genuine and good-natured and these are a joy to watch.
Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate it. I’ll make sure I show the process of making lines, I have a pretty cool tool that makes it a breeze to make lines! I’m honestly just glad that people are enjoying the videos and commenting. Before I wouldn’t get a single comment haha but I think as I do more videos the channel will grow. Thanks for watching!
Well done!!! Cant wait to get started on the 62’ I found. It has an inline 170 that is in bad need of a rebuild. I’m hoping to be able to track down the rebuild kit…. Any advice on parts suppliers for these Falcons? Thanks!!! Hope you and your girlfriend are enjoying cruising that car.
Awesome I love the ford inline six. It really depends on what type of part. For most everything I use summit racing. For hard to find parts that are falcon specific I use falcon enterprises
@@OmarRamirezGalaxie thank you, I appreciate the response. Also, if you have time, put up a link for the background music that you use. On a couple videos, you have some great music! Thanks again
Of all the Falcon videos on youtube, yours is the most keenly and lyrical and has touched me. You are in the prime of your youth. I live in Japan and it's somewhat of a disadvantage to drive an old American car, but this weekend I'm going to see a '63 4 door with a bad automatic transmission. What a shot of the car driving off (at 12:43) with sunset and palmtrees on the side of the road.... So cool..
Haha I want to do more scenes like this. Lots of places around here with palm trees. Definitely some nice drives in these old cars
I was also taking in the scenery, haha.

You're a helluva guy Omar & a damn good mechanic. Back on the Galaxy my friend, loving what you've done on it so far.

Very sweet Falcon, my dad had a red 61 back in the 70's. Congrats on getting it in such good condition!😊
It’s great to see young folks into these cars. Nice work buddy 🤙🏼
awesome car the money shot was where the little falcon drove of into the sunset ;) keep on rockin 😊
Engine bays are the worst to clean, but it makes all the difference. Nice job. Good sounding little Ford.
I have a 4 door. I geared it way up for highway. It's on my RUclips.
Great looking car! Nice to see a clean driver with a six.

Nice. I love the 63 1/2 with the “fastback” roofline. I’ve seen one locally to me but it sold pretty fast. It was a sprint model 289

What a fantastic car. That would be my daily driver for sure. My first car was a 1967 ford falcon 289, great car.
Yes such a cool car with the great inline 6. More videos to come on this one! And I love the 67 as well!
Another great job, Omar. As usual, you go above and beyond. I'm sure that little Falcon gets good gas mileage, too.
Thanks appreciate it! It does way better than a v8 ford that’s for sure haha
I think your carb looks too high to fit under your hood. Should've had a T-5--manual's harder to steal. Pretty unit.
looks "OK" now
I liked the way you presented the installation of the 140 ci engine. Very good job
Appreciate it thanks!
Hey brother, I'm currently building this car in a 4 door version. Would you mind sharing your tire size?
Yes I’ll have to check

Appreciate it thanks!
Clean Work as Always Young Brother! That was a great ending to the video!
Haha thanks appreciate it!
Nice work! Great car, I am surprised how large the Falcon looks compared to modern cars. I always thought they were small. Keep up the good work!
Haha it’s about the same size as a Toyota but a bit smaller and a lot more narrow. And pretty dang light too!
Tremendous work, man!

What is the color of the falcon? I have the same color, can’t find the paint code
Not sure to be honest, the original color was black on this one
flop job. Serial numbers don't match.
Haha which numbers
Your girl will be happy
Nice one. Cruising with your sweetheart is the best and even better in a classic Falcon.
Haha yes! That is the best feeling
nice
Great job
Did you decide if the trans is a 3 speed? As an old timer seems to me that the 2speed trans did not have cooling lines. It was air cooled I think. Nice job fixing the old Falcon up.
Yes this one’s a fordomatic 2 speed. I just bought an inline 6 C4 for it, so I’ll be upgrading it in the future to get an extra gear haha
That will be a nice upgrade.@@OmarRamirezGalaxie
Sweet!!!

Hahahaha
My Dad had a 63 Falcon and then a 64 Galaxy 500XL , loved them both, sadly I totaled the 64 . Good job keeping them on the road . TRue Classics .
Haha that’s awesome, that galaxie is like two falcons in length! I’m sure they were cool to drive!
Looking Good!
Thanks John!
👍 don’t forget those brake lights. The switch on fords are known to stick on .
Haha yes, I think that switch is faulty. It’s funny how they put it on the master itself
Muy buena maquina ....
